My temp has risen looooads this morning, so I think I ovulated yesterday. I'm hoping not though as we haven't BD at all this cycle yet. Was kind of hoping to save all the swimmers for OV as I didn't think I would until around Sunday. Grrr! Will see if my temp stays high and will jump on OH when he gets home today.

BrynonyMcM hope AF disappears soon. When is your 4th wedding anniversary? Ours is in July, can't believe it's that long already time has seemed to have flown.

Ladies just wanted to say thank you so much for the words of support and sorry I didn't have chance to update you all yesterday. I got back from the clinic about 3pm, had food and then had to rush to uni at 4.30pm and I didn't get home until 9pm so I was shattered.

Everything went really well at the clinic, IUI was a bit painful but bearable a bit like period pains.  DH has a really good sample they like it to be over 5 million nce they have washed it, DH had 22.2 million and 89% motility, the Dr said it was brilliant.  DH was chuffed bless him as he was worried he's let the side down as the Dr kept saying how great my ovaries and lining was lol!

I had to pull a sickie in work yesterday to have the IUI done. I really hate doing it but I knew my boss would say no if I rung and asked to take a day's annual leave and then I would have been stuck and there was no way I could miss the IUI. So it was something that I had to do unfortunately. Back in work this morning and the two (horrible) people I work with haven't said one word to me so feeling a bit awkward.

My testing date is the 8th May its the same day as the nurse's birthday who did the IUI so I'm hoping its a good omen. So I am now officially in the 2ww think I'm going to drive myself mas as they have given my progesterone tablets to take for the next two weeks which apparently helps implantation but also makes you have pregnancy like symptoms so its going to be particularly cruel! So going to try my best not to symptom spot - I wonder how long that will last lol!

Hoping and praying that the IUI will work but trying my best not to get my hopes up but its so hard x

Wonderful news loopy so glad it went ok & not too painful & hubbys reaction is funny they r so funny about the samples lol hope the tablets aren't too bad & the symptoms u get r your new bubba u both deserve it i've got everything crossed 4 u xx

Sian pleased the scan went ok mine was abit like that just wanted to face us so had a wiggly around then had a walk so got 2 scans that day lol  how did grandad react!!!!

Andi30xx how annoying! Have you googled to see if clomid can cause temping to be inaccurate? When AF arrived my temp always drops that morning, cruel to keep your hopes up.

OaksMikasMummy thanks for the message, OMG a BFP would be amazing timing at the moment. I'm hoping it will work but I've read its more successful on the 2nd or 3rd attempt so trying to stay grounded but secretly hoping we'll be one of the extremely lucky ones. I hope youa re keeping well and the pregnancy is going smoothly x

Telling my dad went well, I was really nervous about telling him as he is a man of few words and hard to read, but he was really really happy. He said he's been waiting to be a granddad as all his friends and cousins are granddads now aww!

carioke I had the problem of everyone wanting to go out for a drink and asking why I wasn't having a party! I just said I didn't want attention and that my OH was taking me away - which was true! I'm sure you'll think of an excuse if it comes to it!

Bryony sounds like your hubs needs to start taking some mega vitamins if he's always getting ill! Hope he feels better soon

loopy wow about your hubs sperm, that's really good! So it sounds like yesterday went really really well hun! Shame about your horrid colleagues not talking to you, what a-holes. Just think though, a little office awkwardness will be worth it if you get your BFP! Ooh so it's like a normal 2ww for you now then? Eeeeeeeeeeee this is so exciting, I am thinking massively +ve thoughts for you hun!

Loopy - so glad it went well yesterday. It's funny how men can be so proud of something they can't control, lol. Hoping you're extremely lucky and it works first time! Roll on 8th of May!

Sian - I'm hoping that I haven't oved already, but OH will definitely be pounced on this evening.

AFM - it's my brother's birthday today so all my siblings are heading to my mum's house to catch up and give presents ect ect, so I'm looking forward to that. TTC wise, I have had a small amount of EWCM, but not as much as I usually do, so not sure what's happening!

Sammyhamuk hope you enjoy ur brother's birthday. My DH had low morphology on a couple of his SA's so I think he was worried that it was his fault and the sample wouldn't be good enough so it was a huge relief to have such a good one lol!

Ok its probably knuckle rapping time as I havent been taking folic acid but I went and bought some pregnacare conception vitamins today, 3 for 2 in Tesco so thought I would give them a try although I probably should have bought the male equivalent lol.  Aw its unbelievable how often my hubby gets the dreaded man flu, probably worse now as my ds is obviously going to pick up every bug going at nursery....aaaaaaaaaw give me strength lol.  HOPEFULLY he will be feeling better for ov....everyone keep your fingers crossed for us haha.

Logging on for the first time in a while to say two things. Firstly, I wanted to let you know that I had a gorgeous baby boy two weeks ago on 11th April, we've called him Stanley and he was 7Ib 7oz. This thread gave me so much support when I was trying to conceive and I wanted to let you know the news.

Secondly, wanted to say big good luck to Loopy for the 2ww. I've been following the thread ever since I got my BFP in August and few things would make me happier than to see your BFP announcement.
