Soo confused! Need some advice please girls!

So I was due AF around the 11th and still no show, but I'm not very regular so can't really rely just on that! Last few days iv been getting sore boobs, feeling sick, tiredness! So I made my other half go shop for test Thursday, I always use the 1st response which have always been great but he got boots own brand! I took one thursday and one today but both negative! Just wondering what everyone's experiences with these tests are like? I feel pregnant but both tests are saying I'm not, very confused! is it worth going shop and getting 1st response or just leaving it! Thanks xxxxxxx

I used Tesco own brand which worked ok & have heard mixed reviews with FR.

I know it is super hard, but try to wait atleast a week after AF is due to test. That way you should know for sure. I was a week late at Xmas, testing every day only for AF to show on day35!

Shops own brands are usually just as good as the more recognisable brands.  The prob comes with HCG levels & how fast you personally build them.  With both my pregnancies I didn't get BFPs until I was 6wks into term & my sister only got a faint BFP at 12wks with my nephew.  If you're having no joy with home tests you can ask your GP/Dr to test for you - a blood sample will give a clearer indication of hormone presence 'yes/no'

Thanks girls! I've had very bad experiances with own brands! So don't tend you use them! Decided to buy another one, and there was a line! A very very faint line but it was still there! But iv had this before and AF has arrived a few days after so not getting hopes up! But with 2 miscarriages in the last 6 months, that's kind of hard! Fingers crossed!! Xx

I had all the symptoms at the end of april used morrisons own brand, first response, clear blue and boots lol all came back negative only for af to show up 10 days late, I was convinced I was pregnant but here we are in june still not

It does not do well to dwell on dreams and forget to live

Thanks deeders! Took another test this morning and the second line was a lot darker! If AF doesn't arrive by wednesday I will ring the doctors so they can do a blood test! Fingers crossed! X
