Hi jenn1982 could it ovulation pains? I get them too, similar to AF but not quite as painful. Good luck with TTC x

Loopy I don't blame you for wanting to avoid the situation with your family. It sounds really hard. I don't think your parents should be pushing you to go if they know what is going on, its unfair. Big hugs sweetie.

Pozzee good luck with the freelancing, hopefully by commiting to something it'll envoke sod's law and you will get your sticky BFP!

Jenn good luck with the smep, I have to say I like having my cbfm and think it was worth the money (I got mine from ebay for about ??35 although I can't remember exactly how much!)

Firstly I want to apologise for all my moaning, no excuses :lol:
I had a peak on my cbfm yesterday but the stick was a bit funny so not sure if it was right or not. Was expecting to ov on Mon so we'll just have to keep bding until next week, how terrible!

So glad to be off today, I am shopping online for a couple of presents and then I might start some wrapping, sooooo exciting

I swear I am such a big kid sometimes!

Hi all - Have not been on for a while as attempting to forget it this month and start again next. Just need a break from it. Not using the CBFM and it's actually really nice not to think about it for a change. Only came on so I didn't loose track of this thread! Couldn't read everything as short on time tonight but I hope everyone is OK. PP - Yes I'm hoping we'll get it in Jan. How are you coping?

Bumblbeeuk I am the same I have been trying to stay off here this month so I dont get myself stressed out!!

I never got a peak on my CBFM this month however I did have signs of ov around CD23/24 so I am not sure what is happening with my CBFM. I test around the same time every day so may me LH surge wasn't there for very long I dont know. Its so frustrating tho not getting a peak cos I am thinking whether we dtd around the time I think I ov or did I ov this mnth maybe I never!!! I have tried to forget about it n I havent a clue when AF is due if I ov around the time I think I did she is due the end of next week. Known my luck she will arrive Xmas Day!!! Has anyone elses CBFM not gave them a peak?

Lets hope we get sum Xmas BFPs that would be the best Xmas pressie ever x x

Hi Ladies,

I don't want to put a huge announcement on the board (though obviously people might read this thread) as after 3 m/c's it just feels a bit silly but I wanted to let you ladies know - I got a BFP! I did a cheapy on Saturday pm (total lack of will power, all those fine words about waiting til after my period was due) which was roughly 12dpo and the positive came up straightaway.
I got a CB digital one which I did yesterday morning which was pregnant 1-2 weeks. I had dreadful cramping on Friday morning (it actually woke me up at 4 am) and my boobs are enormous and veiny (niiiiice) which was why I decided to test. I am in complete shock, having had a m/c last month I never expected to get a bfp this month at all and was just expecting a BFN.
We DTD on my two peak days and I put my bum in the air afterwards for 10 mins. But I haven't tried really as I thought this month was going to be a write-off.
I have started taking my folic acid more carefully, no booze or caffeine - I've been out for a few drinks with old-work colleagues as I thought there was just no way and had two HUGE coffees on the Friday morning.
I'd like to stay on TTC for awhile as after all the m/c's I am scared that it will happen again, and would rather not bid my farewells only to have to come back again. Please keep your fingers crossed for me, Mr P and I are desperate for a sticky bean this time!

MrsM87 I didn't go to my families after all, my parents went but me and DH stayed home. Yay for you peak hun, keep bedding

vickykenny1 sorry to hear that you haven't got a peak yet hun I hope you get one next month or even better get your BFP.

Well I'm only temping this month and not using the CBFM I don't think its going to help us as DH has sperm issues. FF put ov down as CD18 so we haven't dtd the last couple of days as we've both been so tired. Well FF changed today and put ov down as CD21!!! So mad, I'm worried we missed it completely now. I don't feel Christmassy at all this year, I'm hoping and praying that I get a BFP by next Christmas x

I don't stop into TTC as often as I am trying to be as positive as possible, but often in the August 2012 group - be great to see you there but I completely understand your hesitance to say goodby to TTC.

Bumblbee I have to say I was contemplating a break from my cbfm but with my cycles varying a bit I would be wondering when I was due on, it'd drive me mad!

Vickykenny I didn't get a peak last cycle, I could tell from the sticks what should've been one though. I confirm ov with charting anyway but I missed loads last month and hated not knowing. Fc its a one off for you.

Pozzee OMG, I am so so happy for you my love, I let out a squeal of excitement! Congratulations, I really hope this little bean is sticky for you

Loopy I hate it when ff changes ov date. I really hope next year is the year of the BFP and we can all get our sticky little beans

I hope you manage to feel Christmassy soon.

Hi to everyone else

Well I decided I didn't trust the peak it gave me as my temps didn't rise so I bought some cheapie opk strips yesterday. Did one when I got home yesterday and it was a positive, was so shocked! We should have caught ov though as we bd'd on cd18, 19, 21 and will do tonight I think. Just hope we have some luck this cycle

Hey BB - I had a break from CBFM and I got a BFP (last month's which didn't last but still a BFP is a BFP!). It felt really good just to have a month to myself and not worry about stuff. Have a relaxing Xmas break and don't think about it for awhile.
Hey VickyKenny - Someone correct me if I am wrong but I think Broody Betty has had months without a peak. Her doctor said it was normal not to have a peak/ovulation every month. So while completely and utterly frustrating I don't think there's anything to worry about. You might have still ovulated but the CBFM may not have picked it up, I wouldn't count yourself out yet - especially if your wee was very dilute - sorry for TMI.
MrsM - I am loving your multi-prediction system, you are sure to catch ovulation this month. Got my FC's for you.
Loopy - FCed you haven't missed ovulation. I've never used fertility friend but this changing of the goal posts seems to happen to quite a few people. How annoying!!! You never know though.

Pozzee how are you feeling lovely? Have you been to see your doc yet?

Well I am 5dpo, ff has my testing date as the 1st of Jan but af is due on Dec 30th so I will probably test on the 29th/30th. Was feeling fairly positive but its kind of disappearing a bit. We covered it as well as we could so just got to hope :lol:

Not sure I will get on here again before Christmas so I would like to wish all of you ladies a very happy Christmas

Congratulations Pozzypod

I just wanted to let you know I finally got my bfp yesterday after 10 months ttc. Some of you might know I had Issues with mid cycle spotting. This month I knew I was pg because I did not spot at all. But I was too scared to test so left it until Christmas day to test. I thought at least if it was a bfn I could have a glass of wine. It feels unreal. I haven't got much sleep tonight . Symtptons were feeling slightly sicky one morning before work last week, metallic taste in my mouth. Very dry mouth with chapped lips. Slight cramping (not the same as AF cramping). Sore boobs (that was the first symptom). I had really sore boobs for just over a week before testing. Boobs definitely look bigger

I'm trying not to get too excited as its still early days. I'm 4 weeks.

Just want to wish you all the very best of luck. I know how hard it is month after month getting a bfn. Loopy very best of luck. I'm sure you will get your bfp in the end. You so deserve it. Here's hoping 2012 is your year and the same everyone else on here,

As for me I got well and truly spoilt by my hubs for Christmas, lots of goodies. Still ss like a mad woman. Hubs seems to think we have done it this month but who knows. Af is due on Friday so cross your fingers for me ladies!

Hey ladies
This is my first ever forum... my hubbie and I have been trying for a year and now I am in the middle of my first cycle on CBFM.
Question: I have a longer cycle (between 34-42 days) but my monitor has been flashing 'm' for the past three days (days 25-28 of my cycle). Now I know that AF is nowhere near ready to come and I want to be sticking tests in there but can't!

Is this normal for the first cycle on CBFM to predict AF at every other women's 'normal'? Frustrated! :? I did buy my monitor second hand but was sure I reset it properly...

Can I expect my second cycle on it to be different?

Would love some replies

I am so confused!
