Hello! I'm here Mrs Rodders. Hi everybody, I've been lurking about here for ages, hubby and I are waiting til July or August, just to try and save a little money and I'd like to loose a little weight as I'm a bit of a weakling. Its so nice to see so many people in the same situation, at least we'll know some people when we start ttc. I;m so desperate to try but know its not time yet, howeve I;m taking folic acid - not pregnacare, my gp was insistent that only folic acid had any effect on baby so I;v decided to just save the money I would spend on pregnacare. I'v also started pilates which is alot harder than it looks - i definitely reccmmend it!

But if i'm being honest i tend not to worry too much about all those 'research shows' stats, the way i look at it it all this info wasn't around when our parents were TTC and it never did us any harm!!

Thanks Mrs Rodders - in a weird way that actually stopped me stressing
made me realise that both my dad's parents smoked when he was born and my mum's father was also smoking - neither of them have any had any respiratory problems

I guess it's really easy to get caught up in all the mania surrounding pregnancy

Jellytots I tried pilates once, I was rubbish! Core strength is none existent. I had to hold on to a womans legs while lying on my back and lifting both legs, my stomach muscles were shaking so much. I'm used to exercise classes where you sweat, never do muscle work just cardio. I should probably vary. How long you been pilate-ing?

oh how lovely!! I guess even if you fell straight away you'd still be tiny at that stage!! You cant lose no matter what happens! If you fall before how exciting!! If you dont a lovely glass of champers and plenty of BDing on honeymoon!! I think a honeymoon baby sounds so romantic and that's what I'm hoping for but what are the chances lol

good luck xx

I'd love a honeymoon baby too!

Steph, my friends got married in Jamaica in a Sandals resort and it was beautiful. I wasn't there, coz it was just a small wedding but I was crying as I watched the wedding dvd. It looked so romantic and sunny. The sea was a gorgeous backdrop to their wedding. It will be amazing. I am really jealous now. The best I can hope for is it doesn't rain on my wedding day in sunny Scotland. Fingers crossed x

congrats Steph on your chat with you OH

jellytots (and other pilates ladies) - have you tried yoga before? i've done 3 classes but it's working out too expensive so ive bought a yoga dvd instead - i heard it was a good exercise to do when PG so thought starting now would give me something practical to do

Ours are Thomas and Evie - hubby and i talk about them all the time as if they are already a part of the family!

Only thing we're not sure of is whether Thomas's middle name will be George (after his grandad) or Evan, and whether Evie May will be lengthened to Evelyn! x

WOW my OH and I have agreed on Evelyn May and shortened to Evie! how mad!!!
OH's birthday is new years EVE hence the Evie and my birthday is May!
