ovulation mucus - Trying for a baby

Sorry for the title.:roll: Due to start ttc next month on honeymoon so thought this month i would try to spot the signs around ovulation. But noticed today I some mucus that was a bit jelly like and elastic like which wasn't there yesterday I should be in the fertile time tomorrow to Saturday. Is this the right type of mucus or the wrong type? I am unsure so any help on the topic would be gratefully received. :\)

thanks Gayle will keep a look out for it next month. wedding is in 25 days time so cant wait and honeymoon and properly ttc starts then yipee hopefully a few exciting and fun months to come.

I am so sorry to have to ask this question...

I have been on the pill for 15 years and really can't remember what it was like before then.

I have had slight pains low in my stomach today and I have had a browny mucus kind of discharge, is this ovulation???? I am not going to start trying till after our wedding in 7 weeks but it would be good to know.

Hi A1, the browny mucus sounds like old blood, possibly from a period. It could be that your hormones are getting back to normal and this has caused some old blood to be expelled from the womb. Just a suggestion (not a medical prof). When you ovulate your dsc becomes clear and stretchy.
Good luck with the wedding in 7 weeks and ttc afterwards!

hi all, i am now 8wks pg but we took a while ttc - i was trying to take temperature etc to work out ovulation day and got fed up so i tried using the clearblue digital ovulation sticks - u get a smily face appear when u ovulate! the month i used them and made sure we had lots of sex on smily face day it worked!!!!! have fun all!!
