new - already obsessed.Help! - Trying for a baby

Hi everyone,

never thought I would join one of these chat room thingies as always been a bit dubious about them but after trying for a baby for about 2mths think I need some support.

Had a 'chemical pregnancy' last month. I.e was about 2wks pregnant (2 positive tests) then tests started saying negative and got period few days later. So in space of first month was elated and then crushed. Know I should see it as a good sign but gutted - especially as got period again this month.

Hubbie says just relax and will happen but think am a woman pos:\(essed now!
Any advice?

Congrats on getting married. I was dubious about joining a chat room but everyone who has replied to my posts have been supportive so you have come to the right place. It took me a year of trying so keep going the rollercoaster will be worth it and your not a woman possessed what you are feeling is perfectly natural. Have you worked out your best time to try to conceive?

Hi justmarried,welcome 2 the site.this is our fourth month of ttc.we have got a little boy who is 2.i agree with bristol,try 2 work out roughly when u will ovulate,then go for it around that time lol!!! good luck 2 you honey.Gayle xx

Hi justmarried, i have found this site great so far and very supportive. my O/H is great too and just wants me to relax and take each month as it comes but it is nice to have other like minded and completely ttc obsessed women to chat to. although now after a couple of months i'm not as strung out about it i'm still pretty obsessed. good luck and keep us posted

i had my m/c over new year and am obsessed i think i have worked my o/v out should be this wednesday but am probably so wrong i have never tried working it out before it is great to know i am not the only one obsessed just married hope it happens for you soon

Thanks everyone. I think it will be really supportive to share the ups and downs with you all. I do try to work out ovulating times but with a 22 day cycle it's all a bit odd!
Good luck to everyone. I'm going to be a regular now I think...that way it saves me going on at my husband!

Hi just married. YOu are in the right place for being obsessed. Friends and husbands cannot understand the agony of the 2 week waits we live in and the way ttc fills our heads. I too had a chemical miscarriage last month and I am pregnant again. Very sick so GP says there is stronger chance this one will stick. It was the ladies on this site that gave me the inspiration to try straight away as there were so many stories of people who found they were very fertile after m/c and thank goodness they did !

congratulations shoelady I'd read some of your posts before I'm sure this one will stick as you say. If you ever want to talk about sickness I am 15 weeks and queen of vomit surely it must stop soon! LOL.
