Wow ladies you can't half talk!!!! I've had a little time off until about a week ago so LOADS of catching up to do!!!

I am 6+4 now a (touch wood) doing okay. Had a scan yesterday and got a heart beat

Kels - So pleased that things are going okay so far (touch wood!). Loving your bump pics on FB!!! Can't believe how b your bump is at 13 weeks! You will have a big bump! (but you are so petite it's bound to get big quick!). I love watching the episodes of friends that are relevant in my life at the time!!! When we were wedding planning i loved watching all of te weddings, not i keep watching the Rachel preggers ones! So funny that she gets horny - my sister in law was terrible at that stage! I on the other hand was the opposite with DD!!! TMI but what way are you going??!! haha!!!

Mrs Ad - how're you doing? love the avatar! Not long to wait now to test!!!

......... and i'm defo going to watch OBEM now!!! sounds very funny! I just had my Oh with me when i was in labour, was really nice just the two of us, we took an ipod dock and listened to music! I really enjoyed labour (even though it wasn't an easy one!) My birth story is under 'notes' on my FB page! Loved it x x x

cpm - good to hear from u so glad all is going well on the horny subject, actually starting to fancy it again now, not really been that bothered about dtd so far! lol. poor hubs. lol

Can you stick me in the list for 31st Jan? That's based on another 28 day cycle though, so I might revise it depending on ov date.

I may have to come and ask you girls tax return advice at some point - it is one big nightmare! I have somehow lost my P60 - the one I had in the folder with all my other paperwork was the 2009 one - argghh!!

Anyway, spoke to the GP this evening and all my bloods were normal apart from progesterone (sp) which they couldn't tell because of CD and so they need to re-do day 21 and then day 1 of my next cycle (whenever that may be!). If no joy, then she will refer me to gynae. Looks like it's not PCOS anyway, so not sure what's making my cycles so messed up... I guess I'll find out soon!

Sue - please can you add me to testing dates? Based on my last cycle, I'm not due to OV even until Feb 16th (what?!!!!) so guess if no AF I will test 3rd March as I'm due to go away that weekend for a friend's 30th. I think that makes me officially a month later testing than anyone else! Hopefully I will ov earlier though.

rachey the only bit of advice id give you about your p60 is ask your employer for the details they can usually give it to you over the phone hmrc (before i left on mat leave) can not give it to you (i doubt that would have changed) but they can send in a letter so if you need that ring them tomorrow (it is really busy at the mo so could be along wait) and you should get them before 31st (provided we dont get anymore snow)wow cant you tell im dying to get back!!!

im starting to get a bit of pain in my stomach so i may not have to wait until tues (of course it may not be related and could have somethong to do with the huge amount of food i have pigged out on today!)

Rachey, am so glad to hear all is A-ok so far. As you can probably guess, I'd definitely advocate the use of a CBFM atm! You might have to trick it slightly to deal with longer cycles, but I think that's possible, and just as useful?

Miss Nelly, you ARE strong. The fact that you get up and put one foot in front of the other, and deal with things head on- The fact that you've tried again after Lilly, and will try again after this one I'm sure, all say that you're strong. Doesn't make it any more fair, or suck any less though. :cry: Look after yourself, Beautiful.

OH was disappointingly unsurprised and calm!!! Can't believe it! I'm not sure it's really hit home for either of us yet. I did catch him telling the dog all about it with a grin on his face! My brother was the most stunned. It was lovely telling him, as he was comically lost for words.

For me, the reality of the financial side of things HAS begin to strike and is scaring the bejesus out of me, but I guess everyone finds a way of managing, don't they?

Ok, so symptoms;

AF like pains. The difference being that whilst AF starts dully, and gets progressively more persistent and sharp over days, these were very sporadic and a sharp one might be followed by a dull one. Also, amidst the sort of dull AF-like cramps, can feel little pin pricks of pain- more like if you've got a urine infection, and you get all those mini-twinges. Also, my AF pain feels like it's pulling down, whereas these pains pull outwards (which makes sense).

Few dizzy/lightheaded spells, headaches and tender boobage (which has now gone). The tender boobage and the dizzy spells were probably the only symptoms I thought odd though, rather than just through analysis in hindsight.

Right, am KNACKERED with the days' excitement and have so much work to catch up on that I didn't do today! Whoops!!!

Vickster, i don't know that my due date for this cycle would be 24th October at all... hehe.

Squeezed, i was saying on the cbfm thread that so far i have tried, OPK's, temping, cbfm, legs in the air, lying still for 30 minutes, pre-seed, mummomega, AC, not drinking... the list is endless. I'm trying to chill out more this month, but then realised that is something i haven't tried before either :lol:

Clalee, totally agree about the cycles thing. Believe it or not, my cycles before ttc were every 26-27 days generally. I'd have 1 longer one just to scare me. Its totally rubbish how slow time seems to go when ttc. Your boss sounds nice, will he still be kept on or ish e looking for something new too. Hope you're colleague gets that job then.

MN, you're being so strong and brave. Like LM said, i hope this next bit can be as painless as possible for you, and 3rd time will be lucky for you. (((((huge hugs)))))

i watched OBEM last night, hubs just kept saying he didn't want to see anyones floo hehe. Steph was so embarassing, even the midwife was laughing at her. Oh dear, i told hubs that while i wouldn't take it well at the time, if i'm screaming and shouting he has to tell me to shut up. And i thought the same about janet's mum, i'd have said its Ralph's place. and he was so scared when they left, bless him.

CPM - Fab news that you had scan and saw heartbeat, I can't believe you are 6 weeks already! I think Christmas/New Year really sped things up for me. Read your lovely birth story and love the idea of taking some music and just chilling with hubs, that would be so serene. I might put together a playlist nearer the time!

Kels I have started feeling more like some action too - we had a bit of fun the other night, although didn't do the deed. I am still a bit scared of that!

RB - Really glad your bloods came back normal and hopefully your next tests will too - although it would be nice if you could get an explanation for your cycle lengths? It's all moving in the right direction though lovely

MN - How are you feeling today? I echo what the other girls have said and hope this next stage is quick for you.

LM - My hubby was very calm too, he was grinning like a fool for most of the evening but he said he knew we had done in that month. He also spoke to our dog about it!! Ha ha!! Now that I am beginning to get some bumpage I think it is sinking in more for him and he keeps rubbing my tummy. Must be weird for them to start with I think. I also had a mini meltdown in the weeks that followed about finances and did about a million spreadsheets but it's so hard to predict things that far ahead and I know we will manage so have stopped panicking now. Are you going to make a doctors appt? I bet you thought it was another dream when you woke up this morning!

Am happy to be in double figures today! Only 2 weeks and 5 days until my scan!

well - we finally dtd last night! felts a little odd, but one id relaxed was all good
one downside though, which has put a downer on it all, its quiet common, and was even taking it slow but think it agrivated my cervix, as i had a little spotting. all stopped now and can pick babys heartbeat up. but scared the life out of me!

not long till our first testing day love the idea of pass the pee stick

Glad you're both feeling well enough to dtd (or almost Flo) must be a relief fo your hubs

Kels I have read most women have that spotting, especially the first time they do it after bfp! Have you got your own doppler now? I am tempted to buy one but not sure if I should wait for 12 weeks in case I freak myself out and can't hear it!
