I guess it can't be easy for them as they are the ones that have to 'perform' as it were but it would be nice for me if it didn't appear to be such a chore for him sometimes! We use the ovulation sticks now as I thought it would cut down on the times we had to do it. But then it becomes ONLY about making a baby on those days.... So difficult. We did manage a couple of 'recreational' ones in the days leading up to my ov this month (tmi) so I really hope this is my lucky month and I can give him a rest and stop feeling like a sex pest!

I have brought some ovulation tests today to use as of next cycle (if this one isn;t successful....which I'm not holding out much hope for)

Just ordered my first lot of ovulation tests too..along with conceive plus! Really going all in!

Aww I feel quite lucky now that my oh is dying for the +ov, we've been doing the deed anyway (tmi) which I know can be hard and we do it when the +ov days have passed so it never feels like it's all about baby making, he can't wait for the smiley face though lol he's more excited than I am lol x

Hi doodles, god yeah that's so true, dont dwell on dreams and forget to live, I like that. Hard to keep that in mind sometimes bet well worth remembering.

I so nearly tested early today. I was dreaming about it this morning crazy dreams. I dreamed that I accidentally lit the test stick with a lighter in my pocket and melted it before I had time to read the result. How mad is that?

I decided to wait till tomorrow though, too worried about getting a BFN by testing too early. Ive been so convinced that this could be the month that if tomorrow's test is negative I'll be super disappointed. I'm going on my friends hen do so a few drinks will be in order. Hopefully it'll be positive and I'll have to come up with an excuse for not drinking..... Antibiotics? Lol. X

Well I tested this morning and got a bfn again
No idea what's going on as my last af was 9th May. I took 2 pills out of next pack then stopped, that was 14th May.
If cm is anything to go by then I did ov and we did bd the day before and on the day.
I guess I'll have to give it a week and go to the quacks if still no af or bfp!

Hi janey, it's actually a quote from harry potter lol but one well worth living by, it's so easy to get wrapped up in this ttc business, i'm grateful that my job doesn't give me time to think about it as i'm on the go all the time.

Dreams are freaky, i've had loads of dreams where I have a baby and it's always a girl although I never see her face, and they were all before I was ttc

sorry you got a bfn hushpuppy   I've given up poas it's too stressful but then when af comes that's still hard but I usually know when it's on it's way!

good luck with tesing janey, fc for you!

I'm getting worried about these pains on my left side, I've been getting them for a few days now on and off all day 

Nevada- It is good to keep busy although I find that's all I think about in the 2ww!!

Hello girls. Sorry to hear those who are out this month and the ones who keep getting BFNs . Dont give up hope though . As far as i know im 8dpo but iv done 2 tests this morning and yesterday morning and they were BFNs. Im not sure when af is supposed to arrive though so i dont know if its too early. Af is due between the 19th and 22nd. Its so annoying having irregular cycles. Hope your all well. Xx

Thank you deeders for your kind words i'm just trying to go with the flow till my AF due on 28th as there is nothing I can physically do now anyways!!
Made me giggle reading some of your comments about our partners as mine is soooo patient with me but has snapped recently by saying 'I feel like a mobile sperm donor to you!' bless him I just dont think he really understands the whole desire thing from a womans point of view or how small that window of opportunity really is I think he basis it on the fact that because he has a child from a previous marriage and that happened within a couple of months this is going to be the same! That also puts more pressure on me!
Mercy glad your building up your tool kit now where did you get it from in the end?

Sorry for those with BFN and i'm crossing fingers n toes for all of those still left in the game of baby roulette!

You're not out til af arrives hushpuppy. Fingers crossed for you.

JackinCourtney - theres still plenty of time before your BFP or AF is due 8 to 11 dpo is still early for testing.

Janey - good luck for your testing tomorrow!

Carioke - I'm still getting the pains around my left ovary. Really hope it's a sign for us both. I do have af type cramps/heaviness today though and the witch is due tomorrow so it's not looking hopeful for me. I'm still getting lotiony and ew cm though which I don't normally get before af. Still feel nauseous, a little lightheaded and shooting pains in my boobs... but trying my hardest to not get any hopes up.

I think I'll test Sunday if af doesn't arrive tomorrow. I actually feel really nervous - one half of me thinking we might have done it and the other half not wanting to get my hopes up in case of disappointment!

hi all i am 7dpo - had a bit of cramping nad pink cm yesterday but no symptoms today apart from a bt of grumpiness!!

Jacki - 8dpo too early to test! AF can arrive anywhere between 10 and 16dpo - although more commonly around 14dpo. Got my last BFP at 11dpo. 

littlemomma - im also getting alot of creamy cm and a bit of ewcm. Lets hope it's a good sign!

Oooh thanks for that girls . I thought i would test because i have some 10miu tests so thought they might pick up some hcg if ther is any. Anyway snugglenush either yesterday or the day before (got a brain like a seive lol) i had some sharp pains in the middle of my stomach like where my uterus is but no bleeding or nothing so was wondering if it could be implantation? Been having shooting pains in my (. Y .) and also been feeling really tired (well about 3days) and bloated but not sure if its just my mind playing tricks on me. Was having aching pain aort of inside my hips too . Only time will tell i suppose. FC for you all. Xx

Hello and good morning, im here on my own as my man is away working in norway for two weeks. I'm so pleased I joined this lucky thread otherwise I'd have no one to talk to about it.....I got a BFP today!!!
To say I'm excited is an understatement. With me losing the last 3 at 5 weeks I am nervous but I do somehow feel different this time so I'm really hopeful that this one will work out. My doctor told me that they would give me early scans starting at 7 weeks.
Looks like I'll have to start thinking of excuses why I'm not drinking on this hen do tonight!

I am currently 3dpo I think. Kept trying with my cbd ov sticks and got a smiley face on weds about lunchtime.I don't know if I got a false positive as I tried again later on around tea time and it was negative and all since then have been negative so have stopped testing now.I had what I think were ov pains on weds afternoon though so I'm thinking I just caught the end of my surge.The only day we didn't bd this week was last night so I'm hoping we caught!!
Now officially in the two week wait-I haven't ov'd for a good lot of months so im really hoping that test was right,have my 21day test next thursday so we'll see then!!

Wooo hooo!! Huge congratulations Janey! I have everything crossed that this little peanut is a sticky one!!

Still no af for me! I'm at the docs on Tuesday anyway do am going to mention to him then, see what he says!

Thanks everyone, I know it isn't over till af arrives but have felt like she's on her way for weeks now!

Af due today for me. I have some af type cramps and keep running to the bathroom to check but nothing! Feel sick still mainly when I'm hungry. Testing day tomorrow if no af. I'm so nervous! X

Huge congrats Janey i'm so happy for you hun shame you on your own with this amazing news but i bet hubby is doing his babydance in Norway!

The early scanning will put your mind at rest but I've no doubt this bean will stick like glue xx

Oh ladies it's wonderful news like this that spurs us on and i'm so pleasedto be part of this thread and share every one's moments with them.

Good Luck for everyone left to test this month including myself and lets hope we see some more BFP's!
