Hi my fiance and I are ttc my first day of my last period was the 12th april which lasted the normal 6 days. My fertile window was from the 23rd- 29th of april i had unprotected intercourse everyday within my fertile window. On 7dpo i had some spotting i only noticed it when i wiped it was a pinkish colour and nothing since then at that time my period wasnt due for another week and this is unusal for me. Could this of been implantation bleeding? I did have very mild cramps as well but not like what i would get on the day of my period. My period is due in about 5 days. 

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi Lovinlife, it might be a sign of implantation and I really hope it was, but there is no way to say for certain. It could have been a result of a mechanical skin abrasion, or smoe spotting before af. Mild cramps can also be a symptom, I've been having them as well (I got my bfp almost two weeks ago, had mild cramps, not like af, but no implantation bleeding). The good news is your period is due in 5 days so you don't have to wait that long now Maybe you could do a first response test in a couple of days? Hi JollyJoey thanks for the reply it really did help I hope that it is a BFP but just keepin an open mind but if it doesnt happen this month theres always next month congrats on your BFP Experiencing more symptoms today so will just have to wait and see. Been having a lot of weird dreams also which is not like me at all. All will soon be revealed. Thanks for keeping your finger crossed for me x

 Has your spotting stopped or is it still the same. My CM is still a dark brown colour and it starting to get heavier. I'm praying it's not turning in an AF, my boobs are really sensitive so i'm hoping i will get a BFP when i check. The doctor told me to check on the 16th (19 days after IUI) I don't think I can wait that long so i am planning to check on the 11th (2 weeks after the IUI)

 Hope you have a BFP this month, so when are you planning to do your test?

Hey TK1605,

My spotting has stopped I only ever noticed it the one it was a week before my AF was due which is unsual for me. I noticed last night that my nipples have gotten very sore its like a stinging sensation never experience this before AF so hoping it's a good sign AF is due in another 3 days. My skin has broken out too and i never get spots at all my skin is usually so clear. I will know soon enough what the outcome is goin to test as soon as i miss my period so hopefully will have some kind of result by the weekend

Hope you get a BFP too keep my fingers crossed for you.

When I got my BFP in October it had been our 15th month ttc so I had almost given up. I had spotting at about 7/8 dpo (not sure how many dpo as we didnt track that month), It was exactly how you described. Just once when wiped and had cramps too. Never paid much attention as i always get spotting 3/4 days before af and just thought she was coming early. 5 days later with no more spotting i thought it strange that af hadnt showed so did HPT and left it in bathroom while i got dd ready for school. went to check 10 mins later and had a very faint bfp. nearly passed out with shock lol DH was in shock too but im now 33 weeks pregnant so yes it could be implantation bleeding. Have my fc you get ur bfp this week. i also got very sore boobs up until i was 20ish weeks. Sorry for the rambling post.

Thanks for the reply it helps when you see what other people have been through as it gives me more of an idea as to what might be going on My spotting was at 7dpo so sounds similar to your situation. This is prob TMI but my boobs have been killing me they are so sensitive never felt anything like it lol. Yeah I will hopefully have some sort of an answer by the weekend it the waiting part I hate lol.

My spotting has started to clear up, I hope it goes away.

 I called the hospital yesterday as I just needed some reasurance that this was normal. They were not that helpful, just said to continue taking the meds and do a HPT next Wednesday and come in on Thursday.

The bad thing is it's my 30th birthday on Wednesday so if its good new it will be double celebration but if it is not, it will really spoil my day. The hospital said it could be implantation or it could be break through bleeding or the start of AF. In all my previous cycles i've never had bleeding during the 2ww and always started only after my meds finish. Still got another 6 days of meds if i go by what they said. It will be 2 week tomorrow after the IUI so i'm planning to test on Monday (don't think i can wait until Wednesday)

Hey Ladies just wanted to put a quick post up on here so that if other people are looking at this they might get some answers coz one thing I dislike is when people dont post what happened to them in the long runSo AF got me I was a day late so I guess my cycle has changed prob something to do with me recently travelling outside of the UK I was a little disappointed tbh but however there is many more months ahead so one of them I hope I will be blessed Thank you all for your input it helped me a lot. I hope I get my BFP soon and when I do I will be back
