Hey ladies,

As my title says i'm about to start trying to conceive baby number 2 (my little man turned 1 a couple of weeks ago). Hubby out of the blue said we should start once i've finished this packet of pills YIPPPEEE. Anyway i have a small problem (at least i hope it's small) i ran out of my pill in January so didn't start taking them on time which meant i had to wait until my next natural period before i started on them again anyway I had a 20 day cycle which seemed rather short but i started taking the pill again on day 1 of AF and have now been having a period for nearly 2 weeks!! I didn't even think that was possible has it happened to anyone else? If this period doesn't stop i have no idea when to start counting from etc any ideas?

Hi. I'm afraid I don't know the answer to your question but didn't want to read and run. I would probably give the doctors or NHS Direct a call and check with them. Hope you get sorted. x

Thanks hun, i'm off to the docs today anyway so i think i'll ask then. Hopefully it's just a blip and i'll be on the ttc wagon properly soon xx

Hi hun hope doc was able to help and wanted to say don't worry i've had it happen to me in the past but mine have lasted a lot longer and there are tabs that can be given to help stop the bleeding x
