I've been reading the posts for a few weeks and getting to know everyone's ups and downs.

My husband and I have been ttc since we got married on 29th March this year so that means this is month 6 now starting for me.

I bought a clearblue fertility monitor on Ebay last month and used it from day 6 right through to day 33 before giving up (I always thought I had a very long cycle but reading some of these posts makes me realise I'm not unusual with my 35+ day cycles).

The monitor gave me a high reading from day 14 right through to when my AF was due but I didn't get a peak, hopefully it's just because we're getting to know each other! I'm on day 7 now and will start testing again on day 10 so hopefully this month I might see the EGG which represents OV.

I'm still feeling quite relaxed about ttc although I do get a bit obsessive symptom spotting when I'm due my AF.

My OH is 37 (he has a son from a previous marriage) and I'm 33 with no kids..yet...

Welcome to the forum. We are all really great on here I'm sure that we could write a book collectivly with all the experience and advice!

Good luck with the CBM I think there are a few ladies on here using them.

Welcome Sonpix! I'm a fellow CBFM user - on month 2 of using it, on month 5 of TTC. We have been trying since our wedding which was only a week after yours - 5 April.

Good luck getting that peak on the monitor, and fingers crossed for a BFP soon.

Hello. Well I ordered my CBFM from boots as they have 20% off at the min which works out same as ebay!

However delivery is between 9-5 ahhhhhhhhh I need to go out at 4, what if it comes then.............noooooooooooooooooo

good to hear you have joined. Ive only been on hear a couple of weeks but everyone seems really friendly.
I have three children already and have been ttc for 2 months.
good to hear you are chilled out about ttc. Sometimes i cant think about anything else, but this last week ive been so busy its not been on my mind as much.

Hey and welcome

I have started using the monitor this month from cd2 (classed as day 1 on the monitor as i started during the day at work and started the monitor the following morning). I was asked to test on monitor day 6, got a low on 6 and 7 and then highs on 8 - 18 and then peak on 19 and 20. im on monitor day 21 today and im back to high and am expecting to be low by 22/23.

Whats unusual to me is that i have ovulated really late so maybe im having a longer cycle this month or i have a shorter luteal phase than i realised.

You say you wont start testing until day 10 - why is this? also did you abandon the monitor halfway through the cycle? if so it will need to be reset and started again..... maybe im confused????

I'm new to this site..and I bought the CBFM too month ago and I been using it ever since too...be patient...I got the High, Peak and the egg on my first try...and baby danced but than got my period 20 days later
so frustrating eh? I'm glad to chat with someone who is going through this too...keep us posted on how your doing ok..

I am just learning to work this site now...
