Hi everyone,

Been lurking on here for a few weeks now but have finally mustered up the courage to say an official 'hello'!.

I got married 6 weeks ago and came off the pill a month ago. Wish so much I'd come off earlier now and done a little research as I didn't realise that it could have such an effect on your periods returning! I've been testing with ovulation sticks for the last week but nothing yet I know it takes time but I'm just so impatient!! ha ha. Bloody typical isnt it that you spend half your life trying not to get pregnant and now I couldn't want a BFP quicker!

We both always knew we wanted children but since the wedding, we've both felt so much more broodier and ready to start a family. As a Teacher, I'd originally thought that we'd officially start trying in December so that if we got pregnant, we'd be aiming at a baby from Sept onwards (I know this is a bit idealistic!) but now that we're married, we'd just like a baby whenever (but hoping asap!)

Anyway, this has turned into a slightly longer post than expected but just wanted to say that I find this forum so informative and I really enjoy reading of peoples' BFPs.

Love Sal x

ahh, hi guys!! I wanst sure if anyone would reply..feeling quite overwhelmed now!! Thanks so much for your replies.

MJ1986 - Im on CD 21 but not feeling anything yet My skin always flares up before AF but it's still ok and I've not even felt a stir down there. I know it can take a while to settle (as I've learnt on here) but I'm just a little freaked that nothing's happening yet as I'm normally like clockwork. I', testing every day though as I dont wanna miss my chance when it eventually arrives. ha ha. Good luck with your BDing though!!!

Mrs H - hi to a fellow teacher! Are you primary or secondary? I'm in Year 1 and working with my little munchkins evey day just makes me want my own MORE!! Everyone said before I got the job that it'd put me off children but I'd honestly say that it's had the complete opposite effect!

yes, was on YAYW too. Was slightly addicted (same seems to be happening here too!) I once posted about school being out for the summer hols and got quite a few replies from teachers - not sure if you were one of them?? I'm up in Warrington - made famous by the lovely kery katona....!!! ha ha.

Did you start TTC after your wedding? I wish I'd come off my pill much earlier now as nothing seems to be happening with ov or anything at the min x
