Just been looking at OPK, and saw one of these microscopes. apparently its test using ur saliva and is reusable and can be used at any time of your cycle......its measuresthe amount of estrogen in your body by the amount of salt in your saliva when your due to ovulate. sounds simples, was just wondering if anybody had tried or could recommend one?! if not i might try a CBFM, saw one on ebay for half the price!

Hi there. I have heard of these before has actually been successful for two people I know. First of all, how long are your cycles? If you have long cycles I would think the saliva ov test would be the way to go. I have 31 day cycles and I like my cbfm but i only use 10 sticks a cycle. But you are right if you buy this saliva test you don't have to buy any refills ever and it's good for about 5 years. I'm thinking of buying the ovulite just to double check when I am ovulating and also the saliva test gives you an advance of when you are going to ovulate. So does the cbfm but this is just alot cheaper.

Heya BS, well my first pill free cycle was 23 days, and am on CD 3 now...bit confusede by it being such a short cycle, but should be grateful I guess! Am debating now whether to just BD like everyother day and see what happens! ? If anyone on here has used one, let me know how u get on!!
