Hopefully it will be my last...this is my 4th scan this month. I had two before the MC was diagnosed, one last week to see how it was progressing and this one today which will hopefully tell me that everything is gone and that I am back to normal.

I did a test this morning and the line is very very verrry faint, almost invisible.

Fingers crossed that it is all over and that I don't need to take their pills. They really seem keen to get me to take their drugs!!!

Also fingers crossed that I manage to get through the hell that is my local hospital's maternity waiting room. Aaaah I hate it!!!!

Good luck Posy, will be thinking of you xx

Good luck, Posy - I really hope it's all clear this time and you don't have to take their drugs.

Sending you lots of (((hugs))) to help you get through the waiting room hell xx

Thanks ladies.

The waiting room wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have to sit on it for an hour each time. I always turn up early for my appointments due to nerves etc, but they have not once taken me on time. Its always a 30-45 minute wait which makes me worse.

Good luck sweetie,

I hope it all goes ok for you and it's all over.

Just think when you next have to go in there it will be for very happy reasons and you'll be the best mummy to be in the room xxxxx

Ooh I like your thinking Mummy Hunibee!!

(Although after seeing the state of the hospital I'm thinking that a nice plush clinic with velvet sofas might be on the cards.......if I win the lottery LOL).

i agree with mummy hunibee's positive visualisation idea! great plan.

best of luck, posy xxx

Good luck tomorrow hun, sending you lots of hugs xxx

Good luck Posy - if your tests are almost back to neg then chances are everything will have 'cleared' naturally. Don't be pressured into taking anything you don't want, this is something you get to do your own way.

I hope it goes as well as possible, and that you don't spend too long in antenatal wait room hell.

I'm going at 2pm today so will update as soon as i can.

I must admit that it felt horrible seeing an almost negative test this morning. Its like, back to square one.....trying to get it to show positive again.

Try to think of it as a new fresh start rather than back to square one.

Easier said than done I know xx

hope it all goes ok - i'll be thinking of you. x

Well girls, am back.

Womb lining back to normal, negative hospital pregnancy test, no effect on my future fertility
wooohoooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!

Can't believe I'm so excited but i felt as if a weight had been lifted when I was walking out of the hospital. I had a lovely doctor and she said "hope the next time we see you it will be in happy circumstances" and winked at me, and it just gave me the biggest lift.

Only down point was that when I was waiting for my scan, someone elses scan was still on the screen of a lovely 12 week baby and I was just thinking whoever just had that is probably so excited right now and going home to tell everyone. Just like I should have been doing in 2 weeks time. But ah well, whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger and soon I will have my own baby on that screen to look at ( I hope).

Now just have to wait for ovulation.......

Oh yeah, the funniest thing was when I showed her my test I had done at home this morning which was an ebay cheapie. Both her and the nurse were looking at it all curious and asking me where I got it from and does it work?! Surely they would have seen one of those, working in a maternity hospital?! It gave me a giggle anyway.

So thats it ladies.

That's great news, Posy - and I hope you'll be back in there very soon having a look at a little wriggling bean and then rushing out in excitement to tell everyone xx

Thanks LDOM, I really hope so. I couldn't stand going through this again.

Luckily there weren't too many people in the waiting room today, it was a lot quieter than usual.

I wish the same could be said for the carpark though, half an hour queue just to get in. It was so full you had to wait for a car to come out before you could get in. I was getting all antsy thinking I was going to miss my appointment but luckily I made it.

so pleased Posy, not a nice thing to have to go through, but at least things are on the up now xx

Sorry Posy - I've just seen this. I'm so glad all is well sweetie and you can get cracking again. So what happens now? Did they give you an idea of what will happen with your cycles? x

Thanks all of you!

Yay for stalking GLK....at least my threads will never go unanswered!!

the doctor said that AF usually comes back 6 weeks after a MC. Although I am not sure if that means 6 weeks from the start of a MC or from when you get your negative HPT. I should have asked but my mind always goes blank at these appointments!
