Firstly sorry to hear of your losses(sp?). I too had missed miscarriage on newyears eve and have been following your posts. Its great to see that you are all looking forward and has given me hope. I was just wondering as i see you are all waiting to POAS, have you had a period since your miscarriage or are you just counting since you stopped bleeding after miscarriage? My body (touch wood) seems to be just about getting back to normal after lots of heavy bleeding -sorry if TMI! I am looking forward to trying again but just wondered if you waited for a period?

i'm sorry for ur loss 2, i did read ur story.
I haven't had a period since MC but we are kinda ttc again.
I had a very heavy bleed and take my dates from the 1st heavy bleed which was the 27th dec, but also keep in mind from the day of 1st bleed- 25th.

U don't have to wait for a period, and i have read that ur more fertile after a mc, its just when ur ready. They do suggest one af for dating purposes.

Hey hunny, how ru feeling, hope ur ok, my first week or so was so hard after my mc, but i came to realise that there was nothing i could of done, and i still have that ache for a baby...defo believe u need to think positive and move on, and have a great bunch of girls behind u!!! I counted form the day i mc as my bleed...am on day 26 now and my cycle has always been 31days....if u want to ttc straight away, maybe used ov sticks as this will give u an even better idea of where ur in ur cycle, i did over new yrs and they got fainter everyday so i know i ov at some point around then!!! Anyways short anwser to the question, no i didnt wait for af, just grabbed my hubbie and went for it....and waiting to see if we where successfull, and crapping myself!!! kim xxxxxx

Read your story on mc support. I mc'd at beginning of december and we decided to try again within a week. That was a personal decision, drs seem to be divided on the issue of whether to wait or not. So we went ahead. Good luck with whatever you decide. Filo x

hi i had msc in march this year and was told to let my body have at least one period after to recover and hey ho im now 34 wks with a girl. so my advice is let yourself have some healing time. x x x

I am so sorry to hear about your loss...first week or so was the worse but as woomummy says you begin to realise that there was nothing you could of done and that it wasn't anyone fault. We are trying again I haven't had a period since my mc so we are just bd as much as we can and I am using ov sticks. I am cd28 with no sign of AF. Good luck trying honey and hoping you get a BFP soon.
