Hi everyone, just wondering what your thoughs were on exercise during 2ww? I'm so paranoid that I might do something to a little bean!! Think after having a chem preg in July I am just trying to do evrything right and not do anything that might cause any harm. What do you all think?
I had started doing body combat but stopped during 2ww!!

there should be no reason to avoid exercise during the 2WW, they advise pregnant women not to start strenuous exercise but that it is safe to carry on if you are use to it, there are a few ladies on pregnancy that are still doing classes, they do say to avoid weights that exercise the stomach such as foot presses,

Daffodil, you're of the same thinking as me!

I haven't been to the gym all week for this very reason! Unfortunately today tho got AF so feeling a little disheartened at the moment. That combined with a LP of only 9 days (last cycle also 9 day LP).

Anyways, I have googled exercise and ttc and from what i've read you should continue to exercise. The problem is, I enjoy running and like body combat, is high impact. Would love to hear thoughts on this too. x

Thanks girls, I might just stick to the tradmill and going for a brisk walk as it's been lovely weather here in Glasgow and if no BFP this month I will start the classes against next month. Feel I can't really put my life on hold while I wait for bfp but it's v. hard!!

hey daffodil, i wasn't sure what to do either, but after one BFP ive decided to carry on as normal, ill be gutted if i missed out on a match "just in case" and then get another BFP! i do a lot of exercise and im just going to carry on. if i get a bfp i will obviously reassess the siuation and speak to GP etc about what kind, if any of my exercise i can continue with, or take up something more lesuirely!!!

well see!xx
