It's my second month ttc no2, last month i used internet cheapy ov tests and got a positive on CD14. This month i decided to try the Clearblue digital ones with the smiley faces to save deciphering the strength of the line. Anyway on CD12 (friday) i got a smiley then saturday i got a negative - i tried again later on saturday just to be sure still negative then yesterday cd14 i got a smiley again!! What's going on? When do you think i ovulated or will ovulate. I thought these were supposed to make it easier but i'm more confused than ever.

It could be that you geared up to ovulate and then didn't so geared up again? I didn't get on with the digital tests at all, and never got a smiley face! The following month I used cheapish ones (not the uber cheapie strips, but unbranded ebay ones) and got my bfp. I know I was right on the money with them as my early scan dated me exactly right for oving when those said I did.

Congratulation squeezedd - fingers crossed i won't miss it this month. I fell first month off the pill with my little boy so didn't have all this confusion.

Thanks! And it IS hideously confusing isn't it! Nothing seems to make sense. The only thing I found with my bfp is that it was the first month opks matched up with ewcm. Once I got the temp rise then is was triple confirmed and it was just fingers crossed! Good luck, hopefully you've caught this month.

I have also had confusing experiences with these tests. I have used the clearblue digi opk for two months. The first month I got a smiley face but then had a period a couple of weeks later.

I have used the test again this month but have tested for 7 days in a row and no smiley face at all!

I am getting so fed up with testing and sympton spotting.... someone send some babydust my way lol
