Hi girls I am on second cycle after mirena coil removed end of April. I am charting and using fertility monitor for the first time this month. I am getting a high reading on the monitor last couple of days so I am waiting for the 'peak'! Would love to have a buddy along the way, anyone want to tag along ? xx

Hi there. New to baby expert so would be a great start to share my 2 ww with you. Currently on cd 18 and got first peak on cbfm today. 2nd cycle using cbfm. x

Hi i'm on cd14 i've been using ov sticks this month for the 1st time, we are on month 7, not got a +ov yet

It does not do well to dwell on dreams and forget to live

Hi. Levi_pink. Definitely, really is so much better to have someone to go through this with. It can be such a looooong 2 ww. I am too hoping that I get my BFP soon. I had 9 high days would you believe starting from cd 9, unsure why that is. I am using the cbfm for only my second month so it may be still trying to get used to me. Im hoping the fact I have a peak is a good sign. I got a peak first cycle using it too. No Im not temping this cycle just reliant on cbfm. What about you, are you temping.? Hope you get a PEAK soon.

Dmari - Ooh nine days! Yes i have heard that the first three cycles you get more highs when the monitor is getting used to you as well. As this is my first cycle with the monitor so i am expecting it, they reckon you should bd at least every other day during highs and everyday in peaks, don't they? I got my first high on CD11 and got another one this morning, so that is four now...and counting...Yes peaks a great sign for you, fingers crossed. Yes i am using the iphone app 'fertility friend' and i bought a BBT thermometer from eBay. I leave early for work so i take my temp every morning at 5.30am, mainly because they say that after you ovulate your temp rises and last month i used opks and just wasn't sure if i had ovulated or not so i thought it cant hurt to do both. I have irregular afs as well so instead of my 2WW last month it was a 3 week wait

Nevada-doodles! - hiya, sorry to hear you haven't had a +ov as yet, hopefully this is our months! I used the sticks last month and got 6 days of positives but have no idea which day i ovulated if at all....do you have regular afs? x

Good morning Levi_pink. Yes that's right on high days you shouk bd at least every other day within your high window and that I have been doing, even in my long high window. We have bd, cd 9, 10, 13, 14, 16, 17, 18 (first peak) and hopefully tonight for my 2nd peak. Poor oh, think I am exhausting him but needs must.

. I used to temp but found that I wasn't consistent with my times taking my temp which you had to be. Weekends when I was not working and being up at silly hours if I was going away with my work. Was totally out if sync. If you take them same time results are more accurate which I wasn't doing.. Again hope you get your peak soon. I have read that first time using a cbfm you may not get a peak while.it gets used to you however I did so fingers crossed you do too but dont be disheartened if you don't as it seems to be pretty common for a first time using it. I must say the cbfm is a little god send, it takes all the guess work out if it. It will be even better when it gets more used to my cycle and I have a normal high window but nevertheless I think I have moreorless covered bases. My cycle was a little irregular however over the last few months but is averaging between 30 to 32 days so I should be due AF by 2nd July. Keep me updated with your progress. Hope its a BFP for us soon. x

Hey Levi_pink I'm also on cd13 and got smiley on opk last night and today so will be bd'ing as much as poss. Lol.

I haven't been temping but may get not it f it doesn't work this month. Been off the pill since July 2011. So we are nearly at a year mark although can honestly say only really tried for about 3monthso at so won't b visiting the dr just yet.

Hi there Nainai3007. I'm same stage as you got first peak on cbfm yesterday and another today.... So plenty if bd..ing to be done to get a BFP. Good luck to you and look forward to hear how you get on through the 2ww x

Hey ladies
Thought I would tell you all a little more about me, I'm 33 years old and got married last year, my husband is also 33. We have been together four years. Last month was a bit of a headache actually after I had the mirena Coil in April out I really thought I could have been pregnant. I had really strange symptoms going on then ended up with brown spotting for 7 days which i have counted as my af. So, here I am trying properly this time and hoping for bfp!!

Dmari13 - did you notice a change in cm as well? That's supposed to be a sign too. Yes I will keep you updated! U too x

Hi Nainai3007! Really glad to have you along, the waiting can drive you mad unless you talk about it lol! I'm using Internet cheapys along side my monitor in case it doesn't give me a peak this month. That's three types of checking I'm doing so something has to go right surely x

Hi Levi_Pink. Yes a definite change in CM so I am sure that PEAK is correct as shown on the monitor. 3 types of checking, you are definitely covering all bases. So do hope its a successful month for you and all. x

hiya girls, aww congrats Dmari on your engagement! my husband and i have been together fo 4 years in August, he is my toy boy by 6 months

So...today got another high, did an ovulation cheapie and it was half darker on one side of the test line. Temp are still consistent so far, they are supposed to drop just before ovulation and then rise after I think?! Still hoping to get a peak, bding every other day.

Hi Levi_pink. Thanks, been engaged for 7 months with my toyboy by just under 2 years.

. I had cheap internet test sticks and I struggled to read them. Do the 2 lines need to be dark to show you near ovulation? No more peaks for me, a high today and I suspect I will go low tomorrow. From what I have read cbfm is programmed to do peak peak high then low once you get your first peak. Im sure I have bd'd enough.

. (Well hope).... Fingers crossed for your Peak soon. x

Still no positive ov test for me.

Af used to be regular then I had a cycle at 28 days, then 41 then 29 so no idea lol

Hi nevada-doodles. Know how you feel. My cycle was a bit eratic when I came off the pill. I was anywhere between 26 and 36 days at one point so was really difficult for me to know when I was late. I seem to be a bit more regular now between 30 to 32 days. It can be frustrating. Hope you see your +ve soon. x

Hi Levi- pink. Any sign of your peak yet?. I have went low on cbfm as I thought. x
