I'm new to this ttc thing, at 34 I would love to have a baby sooner rather than later. (After reading lots on this forum I am taking the plunge) I came off the pill in august after 6 months was off it for 18 months prior to that periods bwn 25 and 40 days so went back on the pill as doctor suggested to try and regulate them. Haven't used any other form of conrtraception, done 2 tests and both BFN, pretty sure I ovulated and have been having lots of sex. OH swear my boobs are bigger and I have had low back ache for 2.5 weeks, can't stand the smell of fish and have felt sick a few times. What's going on with me, how long do I have to keep testing for as I have no idea when AF will come.

Any suggestions, people in the same boat?

Thanks

Hi

I came off the pill in April and waited 13 weeks for my first natural period. At about 11 weeks I felt bloated, nauseous at times and my nipples were really sore! Was convinced I was pregnant but it was just PMS unfortunately (although managed to be quite pleased as at least it meant things were getting back to normal).
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you though!
I started taking my temperature after that as I wanted to know if and when I was ovulating and would then know when to expect my AF. It's dead easy and as my second cycle was 6 weeks and now in 4th week of third one with no ovulation detected yet, it will have saved me getting excited again I suppose!
Keep telling myself it could happen next week and not to stress but it's so hard when I have no idea when I'll be fertile. We start each cycle off very enthusiastically but after two or three weeks of waiting for ovulation you can't help but feel like it's a bit of a chore!!
