More brown spotting this morning. Internet cheapie is still showing two lines, but the important one hasn't got darker for 2 days now. Not bothered with another cbd today. I guess I'll have to wait it out and ask doc tomorrow if proper bleeding doesn't show in the meantime. I have to say, my gut feeling is that I'm having another miscarriage - just wish I knew either way.

Anything about low morphology or thyroid problems for men would be really interesting to know - we'll try anything!! Great news that your bloods come back fine but it is frustrating not knowing if there is an issue. You are so lucky having a hospital appointment so quick. I've been told that I've got to wait 6 months to see a fertility specialist and we've been TTC for 18 months already. I've also been told that I am not priority as I am only 30 and so it will be another 1 and a half year wait on top of the 6 months for any treatment So we've decided to go private - it really annoys me as both me and DH work full time and pay loads into the NHS and now it seems that when we need help they don't want to know. We're lucky enough to afford some treatment but we can only afford one go at IVF and all our saving will be gone so don't know what will happen after that more waiting and saving I suppose (fingers crossed it doesnt come to that). I'm waiting for my DH to go to our doctor about his thyroid problem next week and once that is sorted we're going to join a new surgery one that has been recommended t ous by a couple of different people. It's a little drive from where we live but if it means we get some help then it will be worth it.

Ah Loopy if u can afford it i would go private just to get the results explained better it may put your mind at ease i found it furstating the waiting & mine was fairly quick because of fertlity problems & age & a brilloant doc who gave me the name of doc i needed to c after i had a miscarriage when i saw doc i was given clomid but i fell preg with my dd that month so still in the cupboard (mustn't use mustn't use) i do totally understand what u mean about u both paying into the system then it seems others that don't get help we had that i really hope things go your way look into private prices might be reasonable

My blood tests were the cd21 ones. It says everything is normal though. We get hubbys sa results tomorrow hopefully. He hasbhad his second appointment through for 3weeks time so that was quick.

I think the time to wait for appointmentsnis very different according to whereabouts you live.

Loopy, i understand your frustration with nhs. Its also bad that treatment depends on where you live. I know that we would have to go private if unsuccessful ttc as ive got a son from previous relationship so know nhs isnt an option.

well im still getting lots of cramping, light headed at times, have started to get some ewcm again?! and no af!

Loopy - hope you're feeling a bit better now? I've been a bit low since AF arrived on Monday. Being 7 days late had really got my hopes up that we'd managed a miracle first month success. Hubby had got excited too by Sunday (as I'm never usually late?!) so I feel like I've let him down somehow. Stupid I know but still :cry:

Anyway, onwards and upwards. Going to get some OPKs for this month to give us the best chance of catching ovulation (I hope) as we'd love to be able to tell people before a family wedding in May.

I will test again in the morning bryony. Im just scared of a bfn again and being heartbroken.

Thanks for all the fc ladies. I caved and did my remaining cbd this afternoon - still saying 1-2 weeks. My internet cheapie was the same as the previous few. I've had a small amount of old brown discharge when I wipe, but no bleeding, so that's one positive. Still got sore boobs and making constant trips to the loo. Hopefully doc might be able to sort blood hcg levels out, and then at least I'll know either way.

Hello all, yes loads has gone on in just a day.

It's such good news that both Bryony and andi haven't seen the witch yet, I am praying she doesn't turn up for me too, I'm 12dpo and hoping she doesn't come over the weekend, I really want to test, but that would be the whole relaxed thing would just go out the window. I haven't told hubby yet about the tiredness I'm getting early on in the day as I don't want him to get excited when I don't know for sure. (Just keeping this between me and you lovely ladies)

What intrigued me is that it is a fertility clinic and they give FREE treatment to women under the age of 35, they also have an open day or something along those lines on wednesday 18 Jan at 6pm and saturday 28 Jan at 11am.

Have a look at the website as they are also based in Wales and the North East, you have to register your booking and i think it's FREE.

Hope this helps any of you ladies looking into fertility treatment.

Well I've just been to the loo, I've got a slight brown discharge now so if the witch is coming I think it will be tonight.... Hopefully it was just a bit of implantation or something xx

Bryony, I don't dare test now I'm just waiting to see if af arrives, i think it would be less disappointing to see af than to see a bfn, plus it saves money too. Are you sure you haven't been having any symptoms like feeling tired early in the day or any pain in ovary as I don't think you would have something out when you haven't had any symptoms - i don't know what do you think love? My fingers are crossed for you Bryony.

Hard to say really, I've been feeling queasy on and off but then I haven't been eating properly over Xmas and new year. I've been feeling tired but then my ds keeps waking through the night as he's teething. No metallic taste and no sore boobs but I have been getting funny little stabbing pains across my tummy and almost in the hip area?!!

Tbh I don't think I had any symptoms when I found out I was pg with my son, I had a pinkish discharge and I was convinced the witch had got me but then it stopped and I got my bfp a couple days later...i guess time will tell.

Know what you mean about af bring less disappointing than a bfn, thats why I haven't tested yet lol xx

Yeah I'm getting that feeling in the hip area, I just feel like something is there, but not sure whether it's my mind wanting it so much to telling me it's there when it's not - if you know what I mean.

I don't have bitter taste in mouth or sore boobs, I'm guessing this maybe not be the case as I'm still breastfeeding my daughter. Your right time will tell! By the way if you do get you bfp will you be buying a double buggy or single??? I know its early days but I'm really curious as I'm starting to think about this.

Not sure yet, been thinking about just buying a carrier or sling for the new baby as my son wont be ready to walk everywhere by then and no way he would stay put on a buggy board lol. Lots of decisions to make when the time comes.

Loopy the weight loss is very common for the overactive thyroid insomnia is another part. Don't worry about it, it is treatable most people are on medication for life but it does work xxx

8dpo today just sore boobs so likely that af will arrive on time. I bought zumba2 for the wii and gave it a go last night, wasn't the best idea when I'm not completly clear from this cold and chest infection but I think it will work I couldn't even walk after it last night!!!

Bryony, i had the same. slight brown cm before bed when i checked so presumed af would turn up. and i woke with more cramps so thought testing would be a waste. af hasnt arrived yet though. fc she stays away for you bryony aswell.

rosapenny.... zumba makes me dizzy at the best of times. it is good fun and a huge workout!
