Just watching sky news and they are saying that Michael Jackson has died. I'm in shock, he was a legend back in the day. RIP Michael xxxx

i agree and i have never seen him perform live and now i never will.. Whats most sad is he leaves behind 3 children.

Very sad, i grew up with his music and saw him at Wembley in the early 1990s, he was awesome. He was only 2 years older than me!!!! RIP Michaelm your demons are now behind you xxxx

i have to agree the news is very sad. Im not overly shocked, maybe came a year or two earlier than i expected but all the same its very sad. I feel for his family especially the 3 children.

He was absolutely fantastic at his music, a true legend has gone but his legacy will live on.

I agree ladies, I was watching it last night & had to wake oh up to tell him!! He will live on through his music, so many generations have grown up listening to him & im sure they will continue xx

Its so sad,
My very first album when I was little was 'Bad', on cassette tape and my dad wrote my name inside. I've grown up with his music.
What will happen to his children? The mother signed away all rights to them.

I know he has had alot of negative things said about him but I believe he was just a lonely man who has never experienced a childhood.
The term genius is a word that gets banded around too freely these days, Michael Jackson was a true genius, a legend that defined a new way of music for generations. May he finally be at peace....

i think all the bad stuff that happened a few years ago was all lies. he was a lonely man who had been deprived his own childhood and so relived his childhood through neverland and just had children over.
he was an absolute legend! on the radio at the mo is you are not alone one of my faves makes me teary on a normal day but it seems so much sadder today!

I just want to reiterate (sp?) what Mrs JC said, i feel jacko was a very lonely person and i think 'you are not alone' was written about how he feels. I think listening to it from that perspective makes all this so much sadder and i hope he is now at peace and happy.

I still can't believe he's gone. I've been listening to the radio news all day and it just doesn't seem real. I love his music, the first album I ever had was Dangerous (on cassette). A true legend and musical genius. I'm gutted I won't be seeing him perform now in August, I was really looking forward to it.
