I am looking for a cheap and cheerful short break for myself, hubby and our 22month old son. Ive had quotes from Haven, Butlins, Hoeseasons and Pontins. Pontins is by far the cheapest, but the reviews online are pretty grim.

Just wondering whether any of you lovely ladies have been to the Blackpool or Southport Pontins and what you thought of it. People only really ever give negative reviews so thought Id see if anyone had any positive ones.

Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

Sorry i cant help with pontins-although i did used to go there as a child myself and always loved it!

I am going to a haven holiday in october with my little girl as i have heard they are really good, also my parents have been on them and always enjoyed it and very friendlly xx
