hi, havent been on for a while,. just too knackered after being on computer at work to come on in the evening, and when im at home even more knackered with a toddler knocking around the house at full speed!

so sorry but really need some advice...sam will soon be 15 months. just this last week he has started dry humping his soft toys! at first it was just occassionalyly in the cot for a few seconds, but today he spent AGEs rolling round the floor with a soft tiger, dragging it along with him, smiling ecstatically and giggling.

so, the usual question - is this normal?!???

should i be stopping him or just leave him to it? it just looks SO wrong, but i know he doesnt know what he's doing!

men eh!

thanks xXx

Grr BE ate my reply again! I said that my 2 male cousins both hump the floor, esp if they're tired. I think it looks disgusting! Their mum doesn't stop them from doing it and one even sometimes does it at school

I think it's a normal stage, but I would say to lo it's something that's okay to do in privacy of home but not in public or at other people's houses. You don't want to make him feel ashamed about it or dirty. Just for him to know he can't do it wherever/ whenever he wants.

Sometimes I think men are nothing but overgrown toddlers, they have all the same behaviours

LOL... sorry but your post has cheered me up!

I have 3 sons and yes, its normal! Sadly! lol

I never told them off but I distracted them into doing something else. They do grow out of it. Its simply the fact that it feels 'nice' to them so they will ofcourse do it again and again. Dont give it any attention but just get a book or whatever and say..come on lets read this book etc etc ...

good luck

wait till he is older and you just KNOW they have been bashing the bishop!!!!!!!!!!
