Hi Ladies,

My friend went for her scan and was meant to be about 10wks however, the internal u.s. only dated her at 5+3 the sonographer said they thought they saw a hb and she has to go back in 2wks for another scan.

She has Polycycstic ovary syndrome and therefore has irregular periods so I could imagine her ovulation dates being out by a wk or so but I'm not sure how she could be 5wks out when I too am pg with PCOS and we found out about the same time and I'm now 8+2 (I've had an early scan, I was a wk smaller than I thought I should be but I've put that dwn to ovulation).

I know that the baby could just be small but she can't physically be that far behind me. She knew around the end of the 1st wk of Dec that was pg.

Has this happened to anyone else, she is trying to be positive but I want to try and bring her some reassurance xx
