Im expecting baby2. Only 5 1/2 wks pg but already thinking about buggies lol! My ds will be 28mths when this one is due and was wondering if he'll still need a buggy? The one we have for him now is getting very tatty and its very slim so he looks quite big in it. I was thinking of getting a new one but thought if I have 2 that need a buggy at the same time I may as well get something that can adapt for 2. Any advice/reccommendations would be very appreciated x

hi glimmer,

my dd is 2 in june and bump is due just after her birthday, we've gone for the icandy peach blossom as can use it as either a double or single, i know there not for everyone and expensive but i wanted something that i can use now, then as a double then as a single again once dd is willing to walk every where and doesn't need it x

It really depends on what your child is like. I have a bugaboo single pushchair and my daughter will be 2 and a half when baby comes along. I was hoping to just attach a buggy board to the bugaboo for her but given her tendency to want to run off, I don't think this is going to be a practical option until she is at least 3! So I just bought a 2nd hand baby jogger city mini double for ??200 as I had read really good reviews of it, and it was recommended to me by a friend. I liked the fact it was easy to push and you could connect a carrycot to it. Then when the older one is old enough to be trusted outside of a pushchair on longer walks or in busy places I will go back to using the bugaboo again!

A lot of the decent double buggies seem to hold their value quite well, so I am hoping to sell the baby jogger on when I don't need it anymore.

Im very reluctant to sell the bugaboo as i love it so much. maybe a second hand double buggy might be good. i think in going to wait a few months before making a decision as im finding it hard to make one at the moment!!

I have a bugaboo and have seen something called a buggypod which can add an extra seat to it, not the best 2nd seat in the world but thinking that after 2 she wouldnt be in it for long periods anyway x
