Sounds more like a thready that belongs on a TopGear forum I know but i'm trading up as they say.
Have an 8 months old & one on the way so my little 206 just won't cram us all in along with buggys, shopping etc...
I just wondered if any mummies already own an MPV, i've been test driving the Scenic's & want to have a go in a Zafira, problem is I don't know anyone who owns either & recommendations go a long way?
Heres hoping....thanks girls!

Hi

I've got a Citreon xsara picasso. it is great, as its not as big as some cars but is so roomy inside. I've got a boy 3 1/2 and a girl now nearly 2. we bought this a couple months b4 the youngest came along. you can get to car seats in the back, and still room in the middle seat for an adult. I could probably get another car seat in if I had to. There are loads of little pockets and cubby holes to store stuff in as well. I used to easily get a double buggy in the back and the shopping. now its just a single buggy so no problems.

I found it great in the last couple of months of preganacy as I had SPD and the seats were high and easy to get in and out of.

it was the first car I drove after passing my driving test ( id been driving a fiat 500)

my friend has a scenic and she loves hers it does look a lot bigger though.

hope that helps

Thanks for the reply.
I drove a Scenic & the electric handbrake scared me silly (why do they change stuff that doesn't need chaging? - goons).
Anyway I plumped for the Zafira 2 weeks ago & I bloody love it!!!!
It screams 'MUM' with it's 7 seats, lol but it has made life soooo easy & cos of my SPD it has saved me being a cripple!!!

I drive a Mazda people carrier which I bought in Sept. Really good to drive but by far best thing is sliding doors at the back - so great not battling with the doors when trying to get my daughter in/out. Also comes into it's own when you can't get parent and baby space in car parks!

omg!! i love my zafira! its fantastic. looks great, great on fuel. 7 seater and i u want to drop the seats at the very back i have enough room for a big pram, stroller and i can also fit my friends buggy in as well. so much room for shopping and other rubbish us mummys keep! i find all car seats fit snug in the seats and almost feel as though made for this car. easily fit three baby seats in the back or two seats and an adult in the middle. works for every scenario...great car but doesnt feel as though your driving a massive car. feels like a normal size car to drive just alittle higher off the road..

perfect in every way. best buy we ever made. defo get one x
