I use a number of different nappies and they all have different pros and cons so I thought it would be fun to design my own concept nappy and invite you to do the same.

1) Pocket nappy - easy to put on by OH and grandparents.

2) Do up with poppers from Itti-bitti - velcro seems to wear a bit and some laundry tabs are not good enough some they come out of the wash all stuck together. Poppers on some are small and fiddly but the Itti bitti ones are good.

3) Designs from Happy Heinys - I love their fun patterns and designs.

4) Stuffable inners from Bum Genius - Easy to stuff and fold over with poppers to fit nappy at different sizes. Dries quickly. However the Happy Heiny ones are shaped rather than rectangular so fit better between the legs.

5) Sizing from Itti-bitti d'lish - medium fits from 12-25lbs and looks petite even on small baby.

6) Outer material from Bum Genius - soft and flexible.

7) Inner material from Pop-in - poo rinses off really easily

What bits do you like from your nappies? :\)

I think you need to have a look at www.pocket-bots.com I've just orderd a couple of these and they are fab. The patterns are fantastic and you can pick what colour you want for the fleece lining and even the poppers. I've been using them with Fuzzi Bunz and Swaddlebees inserts and they are a really neat fit and work brilliantly. I love em!!

Having said that, I love how quick the Fuzzi Bunz inserts dry, although I'm not sure they would be absorbant enough for a heavy wetter. I think my camo print Blueberry side snap looks fantastic on, and I love the poppers on all of them because it means I can get a nappy on Barney even when he's mid escape attempt
