My little man is nearly 14 months uncorrected (12 corrected) and has just started walking on his own. He is so proud of himself and his face is beaming when he walks across the room. He got his first pair of proper shoes today and Clarks even took a polaroid as a keep sake for his first shoes, how sweet.

Oh thats brilliant! Grace was 18 months(16 months corrected)when she started and she always held onto something if she could even though she could do it alone!!
You'll need eyes everywhere now!!

Thanks Helen. He does eventually start crawling again as he can get to his destination quicker that way, lol.

I didnt see his first steps because I work full time crazy hours, worked wed, thurs and fri 14 hour shifts so didnt see him from tuesday bed time to friday night and my partner kept him up for me coming home on friday to show me him walking and I was close to tears of happiness.

Well done Kenny. Kara is nearly there as well. She is holding on with one finger now but doesn't seem to have the confidence to let go yet. Hopefully as day now.
