Hi everyone,
Just thought you might like to know that the health care commission will be issuing a huge report on NHS Maternity service across the counrty. This report will supposedly give feedback on all trusts providing maternity care. According to the HCC this will be available for public viewing at the end of january but your hospitals will most probably already have the results, so dnt be suprised if your trusts make some changes. I personally cnt wait to see how my hospital performed, and its doublely relevant for me because im currently doing a dissertation in uni on underfunding in the NHS Maternity services. So pregnanct ladies keep your eyes open on the internet and news to hear when this report will be available. Sorry for the long message just thought it would be some useful info for all those mum-to-be's who are having a s**t time with their hospitals and midwives. Kerry xxx

its a shame they cant replace the shi**y midwifes lyk mine and many others and nice to no they are makin it better

If you go onto google and type in 'maternity care-health care commission' it will bring up the site. Its really interesting all the other stuff about maternity care that is on there. And its really disapointing that the HCC havent reported on maternity services like this for 10years, even with all the problems, its disgusting. Kerry xxx
