hi all just wondering really how accurate the clear blue test r?i mean the ones that say how far along u r.Im trusting the one i did on how far along i am until my scan on the 29th.If you used 1 to tell u how far along u r was it confirmed at your scans?iv had no periods for 18mths so have no idea when i would have conceived!! xxx

Hi hon,
I'm guessing they can only be done on HCG levels, but these can vary massively from person to person, and start dropping again after 12 weeks, so I wouldn't have thought they can be relied upon to be dead on accurate. Maybe worth giving the midwife a call or popping in to see your GP just to tell them you're unsure on dates? xx

thanx hun,yea as far as i know they do go on hcg levels.I have an appointment with mw on wed and a scan booked for the 29th.Im hoping she can roughly tell by feeling my tum on wed.Im just wondering if im further as i have a real bump already and although its my 4th pregnancy i still didnt expect it to show this soon!going on the test im about 7 weeks but am in maternity clothes!

i used 1 and ive defonatly got a baby in there lol they r brill i swear by them so if u have got a pos result then ur a most likely pregas xx how far along did the test say u were cos u havent had a period 4 so long?

yes i know im pregnant lol! iv done 4 tests and had one done at docs but was wondering if any1 used the one that says how far along u r and if so was it confirmed the same wen u had ur scan? going on the test im about 7 weeks xx

mine came up that i concieved 1-2 weeks ago so it was about right but i have a 38 day cycle so that confuses every1 any way lol i think it works more accurate if u have a 28 day cycle but with u not haveing periods 4 so long i really dont no cos if it comes up 5+ that means u cud be anything up to wen u start showing xx

it didnt come up 5+ it came up 2-3 when i found out but that was 3 weeks ago so id gather it now means 7ish weeks as it says 2 weeks on top of what the test says.How confusing when u dnt have periods!!!lol

yep it is lol it drove me mad i thought i was 12 weeks but the out me bac to 10 weeks i was well miffed lol but now im nearly 23 weeks omg i wished i was 10 weeks again lol im terrified and its my 4th so i shud be used to it by now im just scared of the section thowcos im a whimp xx

o dear! have u had a section b4?this is my 4th pregnancy too but 3rd baby.Cnt w8 for scan to hopefully put my mind at rest!unless they say its twins!!its all im gettin from friends with how big i am already!!!is this pregnancy going ok 4 u? xxx

awww bless u ive got preeclampsia again i had it with my 2 boys and delivered thm at 30 weeks by section thats y ive got to have another section this tym but they only reckon im gona get as far as 28- 30 weeks which is scarey its like history repeating its self allover again xx

it wont load up at the mo but il keep trying im haveing a little girl i ent n they r in special care u dont need alot till they r out she wont be out of hos till may if not longer anyway just depending on how shes doing with her feeding and breathing and keeping her temperature and her weight cos they dont let them out if they r really premmy till they reach the 5 pound goal xx

Hi Hon, i think if they say you are 2-3 weeks pregnant the lowest number is right if that makes sense. i worls by a 28 day cycle that you ovulate at roughly 14 days. a few of my friends have had them and their scan dates match by the lowest number-if that makes sense.xxx?

I don't think they go up to 5+, only 3+. Mine was correct with the result when I used it, and it was a reall weak wee late in the day too.
