When can the baby hear sounds?

I have read various dates..... so I am not sure.

I am 16 weeks today, and not sure from now if we should be starting to talk to junior.

in my prenancy development books it says that 16weeks is when they ruffley think baby starts to hear sounds,
not sure for deffo cause all experts seem to say somethin diffrent lol,
