Just wondering what people recommend for easing stretch marks or keeping them at bay. I have naturally very dry skin so it is already suffering at just 7+2! (I noticed a few little red marks today :\( )
I have been using bio oil, but am worried maybe it is not right for me since spying these marks today! Would coco butter be better for my super dry skin? Any recommendations would be very welcome!

Thanks all. xxx

Hi honey
I have been using bio oil but only on my tummy as it's very greasy.
Have you seen the sanctuary mum to be collagen boosting moisturiser? I'm going to get this once bio oil runs out as collagen should help, worth a try!
I have heard though that it's either in your genes or it's not so fingers crossed it's not honey!
Nivea also do a good moisturiser too, it's in a brown bottle and it's got cocoa butter in it. I prefer it to the usual cocoa butter one.xxx

My cousin swears by cocoa butter to stop stretch marks. I always thought you either got them or you didn't but i get them on the inner part of my thighs but haven't got any on my belly or my boobs so far...i'm just hoping they don't all appear when i'm shrinking down again :S

I have found using palmers tummy butter good at keeping my skin moisturised. i have a few stretch marks from when i wass pregnant with my son but they arent really red and am hoping that by using the butter they stay faded xx

I really think if you're going to get them nothing you put on will help, sorry!

I have old stretchmarks on my hips and a few on the insides of my thighs (luckily they've always been silvery and never angry or red) but haven't got any on my bump!

this is my second pregnancy but I have been using cocoa butter on my tummy, b00bs and back every few days for the last few months and so far I have no new ones. Just the silvery ones from my previous pregnancy (I didnt cream my stomach at all then!)

Im almost 34 weeks, so have got away with it so far!

Sorry, I agree that if you're going to get them you're going to get them. I have used Palmers Stretch Mark Cream, Mamma Mio Tummy Rub, Bio oil and This Works shower wash since Day 1 (and before I was pregnant, moisturised my whole body daily) and I have got loads. I didn't have any on my tummy until over 30 weeks and then they came on in full force.
That said, it's got to be worth a try - perhaps they'd be even worse if I hadn't done anything. At least if you use stuff you know you tried!!
