I found the clearblue digital the best I got 3 or 4 faint positive and false negatives on the ink line tests the digital gave me the clear positive I was lookin for! ( even one test I done in gp office was very faint she told me she couldn't confirm and come back next week to try again , it was torture not knowing!) best of luck

Superdrugs own brand.... followed by first response....
I got a very early BFP on a sugerdrug one....(but i always use cheapies.. from home chemist... if got a shadow line... then tested with superdrug....) I hate wasting money on tests....

I had a great experience with Superdrug's on brand, clear, simple, easy to use and cheap! The dr's say they are all pretty much the same anyway! I have also used the cheapy eBay ones and got my BFP on there 3 days before AF was due

ClearBlue Digi was my preferred, only because it spelled out the word you want to see along with a guide to how far along you are. In all honesty though the best time to test is roughly 2wks after AF was due at which point HCG levels should be enough to give an accurate result with any test.

I'd recommend either first response or superdrugs own...wouldnt use clear blue for a first test. Good luck

Thanks ladies.
I've picked up a Clearblue Digital one (it had ??2 off in the supermarket!) so next question is how long to leave it?! AF was due Boxing Day or 27th (Came off Pill in May & have had 28/29 day cycles since. Just worried that it might have been Xmas excitement or stress which has delayed start?!
We're away until Friday so Saturday morning probably first time hubby & I will be home alone (for post-result madness?!?!) but should I leave it longer? The not knowing is SO hard!!!

Hi undecideduk2,
I think if you were due AF on the 26th/27th December and you've been having regular cycles since May then a pregnancy test should be able to give you an accurate result if you tested from now, I don't know how you've held out this long. I tested 4 days before my AF was due.
It sounds as though you'll be getting a lovely late Christmas present.
Fingers crossed you get your bfp. xx

Well, I tested and it was a BFN but still no sign at all of AF?! Very confused as I am never late. Hubby is convinced I'm pregnant but we've agreed not to test again until next Saturday (7th) as I'll almost be 2 weeks if AF hasn't shown by then, and doctor would date me as 6 weeks then. Surely pregnancy hormones would be high enough by then?! Am popping into town on Monday so will grab some Superdrug tests then (plus another Digital so I can see 'Pregnant' if positive!)
Will keep you posted!
