Hi all....well i have officially lost my brain to pregnancy!! Yesterday i went out in OH's car as he uses my crappy thing for work....now his car is an automatic and u would think i would be used to driving it by now but apparently not!! I went and parked somewhere and went to pull key out ignition and it wouldn't come out. I was pulling it about and i thought god he is going to kill me as this isn't going to be cheap to fix!!!!!! I moved the car and parked again and key came out. I was so relieved but said im not driving it again until its been looked at. Well i have later realised why the key wouldnt come out!! I had the car in DRIVE still and not PARK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! now some of u will know that in automatics it has to be in PARK to release the key. How thick did i feel!!!!!!!

Also got 79 days left and feeling really crap again. Suffered from day one with sickness and thought was under control but its come back

take care everyone
Rach xx

At least your brain mush didn't cause you to miss your 12 weeks scan! I think I win on the brain mush steaks!

Oh god, I REALLY sympathise with pregnancy brain mush! I've driven out of a car park without paying first and got to the barrier with my invalid card...how silly did i feel having to reverse all the way back!!! I've also put my purse in random places - ending up with me thinking I'd lost it last week or it'd been stolen. But no - I'd put it in the spare room of all places! But its been in the fridge/bread bin etc etc LOL! xx

Well if it makes you feel any better..I've done that when not pregnant!! borrowed my dads automatic (which I had driven before) so I could borrow his trailer and couldn't for the life of me figure out why I couldn't get the key out when i wanted to unload! Felt totally dumb when I realised!!

This morning though, I was very close to adding boiling water to my mug of orange juice instead of the cup with the teabag in it!! That wouldn't have tasted good!

Dont worry you are def not alone. I made toast for my toddler the other day & when I had finished put the butter in the dishwasher & knife in the fridge! Thank goodness my oh found it before the dishwasher was turned on x

I haven't been too bad, altho still got 80 days to do some odd things. However, my hubby has been doing clumsy things, couple of weeks ago he managed to spray me and the living room with coke, not once but twice. Oh it hurt my tummy from laughing so much. Then through the week he fell out of the shower, much to my amusement, luckily wasn't hurt, only his pride!! Then this weekend he was mucking about on the birthing ball and buggered off that wacking his head on the laptop which I was using at the time. He jsut seems to be so clumsy and i can't help but laugh at him. Poor bugger. XXXxX

I went home & found it in the bin.
Things i do are so stupid, i hope my brain comes back soon

I've gone a bit nuts this week too. I put my washing machine on without putting any washing in it! And left my bank card in the supermarket but didn't realise for a week that I hadn't got it! My oh couldn't believe that I'd gone a whole week without buying anything. I didn't tell him that it was because my mum had given me some cash so i'd been using that instead. lol!

Sorry to disappoint you ladies, but following the birth you then have 'mushy baby brain' to deal with! I swear i gave birth to my brain as well as my baby! As for my memory it is absolutely non-existent :/ xx
