Painful Bump?

Hey everyone,

I'm 37 +5 and find that when i scratch the front of my bump or have any pressure put on it for example leaning over the dining table to get the salt (or something similar) my skin get really sore and painful, not on the outside but on the inside.

I guess it's just LO's bum or something making the skin really tight and so there's no squishy padding or something and that's the reason behind it, going to go to the drop in midwife on wednesday though if it doesn't get better as am a bit concerned.

Anyone else had similar symptoms in late pregnancy?

Hi hun

Mine started last week, if felt like a sharp pain from the inside just above my belly button, my clothes really aggrivated it. I thought it may have been babies toe nails but midwife joked he was carrying a knife! Midwife said she'd never heard that complaint before and it may just be where the skin is so tender, she also stressed that if there were any worries on movements to get monitored, there wasnt so I didnt

Gxx

Well the bay is moving fine, still deserves it's nickname of wrigglebum so i'm not worried about that. I feel a bit better that someone else has been suffering with this as i havent read or heard of it before, think i will still pop into the midwife on wednesday just to get checked over.
