Boil up some full-sugar clear lemonade (1.5 mugfuls) with a lemon cut in half, an inch of fresh ginger root chopped or finely grated, and a handful or fresh basil leaves, torn up. Simmer it for 15 minutes, then strain, squishing the lemons to get the juicy bits out! Stir in enough honey (manuka for preference but ordinary will do fine) to sweeten and drink hot.
The ginger should help with the morning sickness too, bonus!
