Glass Bottles

I was just wondering who was going to be going for glass bottles instead of plastic and what brand you would be buying? I was talking to a girl at work the other day and she has bought them for her sister as her sister thinks plastic ones can get scratches etc which hold bacteria and there are less chemicals used in glass bottles, not sure if this is true?

Might be worth putting in bottlefeeding chat to see if any one is using them and get their advice?

You might want to have a look at this article:

http://www.webmd.com/parenting/baby/baby-bottles

This discusses plastic vs glass bottles. Recent scientific studies are showing theres a bit more to it than the plastic not cleaning as well, and this involves the chemicals it is made with. I also read another article recently which suggested we shouldn't even be using plastic tubs in the microwave as it is when the plastic is warmed that these chemicals can infect our food or in the case of baby bottles, the milk. I doubt there is an easy answer here, but personally I will be going with glass.
