Feeling uterus at 9 weeks?

I'm 9 weeks today and I always thought that the uterus stayed below the pubic bone until around 12 weeks. But when I lie down and poke my tummy I can feel something funny that ends about 2/3 inches above my pubic bone. Hubby thinks it feels weird too. Is that normal or not? Sorry,a bit random I know!

i heard you can't feel it until 12 weeks but i'm about 8 and can feel something hard! don't know if its because i have already had one baby? i have belly too!

I could feel mine a bit sooner than 12 weeks, i think because this is my third. Midwife never seemed too concerned so i doubt its anything to worry about, but mention it to your midwife when you see her next, she should be able to put your mind at rest! xxxx
