hi ladies,
im g/c from ttc, just wanted to ask you ladies about your experience of false pregnancy tests.

at the moment i am 2 days late, af was due on saturday going of a 30 day cycle which i have had since coming off the pill in jsnuary,
anyway i have used 2 hpts with fmu (internet cheapies)one yesterday and one today, both have came up negative.

I just wanted to know did anybody have the same situation where you had a few negatives before finding out you were actually pregnant,

I really just want to know whats going on as absolutly no sign of af and usually she starts appearing for 2 or 3 days before she is due but this month i haven't had any spotting whatsoever, I have had some creamy cm (tmi sorry), and have checked my cervix and not even got any blood on there which i normally do have when af is due, other than that and a few headaches and a little bit of nausea in the night ive not had any symptons.

hi i am 40 weeks now so it seems so long ago, but, i do remember that with this baby, and my second (this is third) i had many negatives in the same cycle before getting a pos. i started testing from 3 days before period due etc witht he ones that claim they can detect hormone then, but nothing...then i didnt get a positive result until i was about a week late.

the way i see it is it isnt over til you get your next af...BUT...i did get a bit obsessive with testing and woudl suggest TRYING to wait a few days in between each test.

i dont know anything about how to check cervix etc so cant help woth that part sorry.

Hi, am in my 2nd pregnancy and was actually advised by my dr to wait until 2wks late before taking test as level of pregnancy hormone can take this long to produce the correct result. Try not to focus on wanting to be pregnant as this can also affect your cycle. Best wishes and good luck.
