This might sound really darft but it does concern me a little, I'm 31 +4 weeks and have a really active bump. Sometime it can be quite painful when my lo is rolling around or kicking and the violence in them worries me that he/she is ok. It looks like my bump is plugged into electric sometimes with the amount of movements and ripples it does. I love to feel it move but sometimes it feels like it moves me its that strong. I wondered if anyone elses lo was that active or if it's normal?? Or is my baby just having lots of parties in there???

Gembo, I think my little ones having parties in there too & I'm only 28+1. Sometimes when you look at my bump you'd swear there was something in there trying to claw its way out. I love feeling my baby move too but this little one is taking the p*** sometimes. Its particularly fond of the early hours of the morning when I'm 'trying' to get some sleep!! Maybe all the lucozade I'm drinking is doing it more good than its doing me!!!

Hi,
I am 35 weeks now and do get days like that but also get days when she is very quiet. It gets a little painful for me too and I feel quite queasy when she is moving like mad.

It does reassure me though that she is OK. I worry on her quiet days and spend all day trying to wake the poor little one up ! She can't win !

I only have 18 days now b4 my c section but think I will miss my movements and bump, just love being pregnant and all that goes with it
Hugs

Hiya
Mine was exactly the same at your stage - but now at 35 weeks today my little one feels like it's barely moving after all the activity of the last few weeks. It's quite disconcerting even though I am having enough movements, it still doesn't feel enough. I have come to the conclusion it's coz there is very little room in there now!!

Oh well at least my baby is doing "normal" stuff, I was thinking that it might be moving too much!!! I had a some lucozade the other day and wow did that wake the baby up, not me tho!! It was going crazy non-stop for about 6 hours!!! So I decided only to drink it if can't feel too many movements lol.

Mine goes mad too!! I'm currently 8 days overdue and it's still wriggling around like mad!! it's head is completely engaged but it still manages to move its bum around so it feels like it's about to pop out of my belly button! it can be quite painful now that it's big!! It's always been quite active, it too kicked the heartbeat monitor from out of the midwifes hand at an earlier appointment!
I'm not sure I'll miss my bump when lo finally makes an appearance!!

hi

i've just hit 60 days to go and oh my god does bump dance. Any time any music comes on for more than 60 seconds it's off........ Which is great when she's having a quiet day, but I work in retail and we have background music going all the time. Never fun when she goes ballistic when I'm trying to concentrate......

mine changes all the time - I'm 32 weeks and yesterday it was going like mad all day - really feel like my skin is going to burst a hole in it because it pushes so hard against my belly! And watching it move is just weird - just like a scene from alien! But today its been really quiet, so I sit here poking my belly trying to get it to move so I know its ok! Good to know that its not just me thats getting this!

Gembo, I am 22 weeks, and mine is incredibly active. OH jokes about it being a Spurs striker of the future, because it kicks and wriggles and pushes out something chronic. I know they're all good signs of a healthy, active baby, but it can get a bit much at times, especially when I need to go to sleep! I jokingly call the baby Sid (after Sid Vicious) because the intensity of the kicking does feel quite vicious at times lol!! Laying on my side will get the baby more active every time, as will sitting down. I don't feel as many movements when I am on my feet and doing things.
