I am 6 + 4 and need a vent otherwise I am in danger of becoming a blubbering wreck in the middle of work.

I am sick of being so tired, my house is a mess, I am making silly mistakes in work.

I am fighting the urge to cry. I know this is all pregnancy related but this doesn't stop me from feeling like crap. I have wanted this for so long and now it just seems like a nightmare.

How much longer will this go on for?

Try to let it all out when you get home, you'll feel better! It's normal to feel like that. The hormonal surges are like nothing else and will make you feel rubbish unfortunately. I expected to be absolutely over the moon when I got pg but instead felt fat, bloated, miserable (and had constant thrush and constipation which made me feel awful).

It doesn't mean you are going mad, or that you should feel guilty, it really is the hormones over which you have no control. You'll have some days you'll feel fab.

My babybrain and lack of energy seemed to go at about 12 weeks for a while (it does come back but by that time you'll have a lovely bump and be buying bits and pieces and getting excited.)

Try to eat well for energy (bananas are fab) and treat yourself in some way if you can. Hope you feel better soon.

HI sweet,

Feel free to vent away - we all have.
I'm exactly the same. I'm so over the moon that I'm pregnant - I truely never thought I'd see the day. But I feel so ill - I've been ill since six week and have now had 9 weeks off work, which make me fel even worse.
Hubby is like a kid in a sweet shop but I just cry all the time!!
I have days when I'm on top of the world though which helps.
Everyone is different so it may ease off for you after the first trimester.
Just focus on your little baby growing inside you and take some time out when you need to.

I have felt like that loads over the last few weeks!

One thing i can say for certain is that having a rant and rave on here is great therapy!

We are all going through it together!! I agree, make some time to treat yourself, it will do you the world of good x

I was like this till about 10-12 weeks then I started feeling really good. Then I had an awful week at 18 weeks where I just thought I couldnt go on....now I feel fab (just very achey and sometimes tired) but do still have my emotional days and am always messing stuff up and being clumsy!!

aww hun. I know how you feel! I hate to break it to you but at 25+5 I still feel like that sometimes! I nearly cried all day yesterday because Theo is poorly (yet another ear infection) and was so tired all day! It does start to get better at about 14-16 weeks though, I dont cry at deal or no deal anymore!
