Does anyone know if its safe to drink an energy drink while you are pregnant?
I'm totally exhausted at the minute & could do with a bit of a boost. Has anyone any other ideas for giving yourself a bit of an energy boost coz nothing seems to be working for me & I feel tireder everyday

I dont actually know, are you thinking about Red Bull? I am assuming that they are limited like coffee as they contain caffeine. I dont like red bull however I do drink a lot of lucozade, especially during exercise xx

Energy drinks like red bull are not advised due to the high caffiene content however something isotonic like lucozade are ok as far as I know. MW said these are especially good when in labour as they replace lost minerals and rehydrate you too.

Hi, I actually looked into this because I drink energy drinks, and they say limit yourself to 3 a day (which I thought was way too much) but thats only if you don't have any more caffiene within that day. So I just have one or two a week to stay on the safe side. lol. xx

i was having the odd can of redbull here n there but havent for a while now, i assumed this was safe as i dont drink tea or coffee and was only having it once or twice a week. the first time i felt bump move was after a can of redbull at 15 weeks after that i thought id just leave them out as im eating so much chocolate that probably equates to my daily allowance of caffeine haha but i think bump enjoyed it, was bouncing all over the place

I drank lucozade but always drank the same quantity in water at the same time. Only had it prob twice a week. I drank two sports sachets during labour it was great really helped.
