Early pregnancy loose bowel (sorry for TMI) - Pregnancy

I only got my BFP last Friday but the doctor dated me 5 weeks on Tuesday. Yesterday afternoon I had a queasy feeling and a lot of gas, then diarrhoea with some cramps. Felt find after and nothing again till this morning when I didn't even think I would make it into work for the train. Haven't had any sickness.
Did any one else have these in early pregnancy? And do you think I should go back to the doctors?

I was never sick but has loads of diarrhoea, i googled at plenty of websites said it was very common, but go and see your doctor if your concerned.

Hi! I did, and still do, have diahorrea too. I do suffer from IBS though. To me it seemed like I got diahorrea instead of vomiting! Hopefully you'll be feeling better soon hon.

God I had the worst bout of it at about 6 weeks, worst than ever before! All is fine thougha nd mine went away, feel lucky its this way and not constipated as thats worse! x

Hi hun, don't panic.

I had diarrhoea for the whole first trimester - no vomiting at all just an upset tummy a lot of the time. I would literally be out shopping and have to run to the loo - looking back me and hubby laugh about it but at the time not funny!

I went to docs and she was lovely and said it was hormone related and to simply keep drinking lots of water to re-hydrate myself but baby would be fine and would take everything he needs from mom.

You have my sympathy hun - there were many days at work when I was running to a loo :roll:

Thanks ladies.

I have read loads of different sites now and it lots of women have had it so less worried now. I have been drinking plenty of water and actually haven't had anything since Friday so hormones must be all over the place stopping and starting it.

I was exactly the same.... other half said I had 'morning s**tness'(sorry, lol) instead of morning sickness, haha. Wish i had abit of that now as ive gone the other way now and constipated
