Bump shoot photos - Pregnancy

Hello Ladies

I finally gave in to my DH who has nagged me for weeks to have a bump shoot.

Being a photographer I am more used to taking the photos but in the end I gave in.

I know some of you are thinking about having some done, so you might want to take a peak. I've added a few to my FB group....

I am going to look as soon as I get home! I'm a self taight photographer and I love bump shots. Very hard to find photographers to shoot them in the right way.

What type of photography do you mainly do? I mainly do children and babies but have done a few weddings x

MafiaPrciness, nice to find another photographer. I do mostly lifestyle work and LOVE it. I am venturing into commercial work now too, but its mostly babies,bumps, weddings portraits. I LOVE doing bumps, but was not keen on doing a shoot of me !Its funny isn't it.

Anyway I know people were asking about bump shoots so i hope posting the pics has helped people see what sort of images you can have.

I love your bump pics, you look stunning. I have also joined your group...

Going to get OH to take some, adore the love heart and baby grow idea. Think its really important we cherish this time, even if i am huge and grumpy right now!!! Going to do mine in black and white though and certainly wont have your professional touch but thank you for sharing them and giving me some ideas.

Are you on team canon or nikon? I've recently invested in a canon 5d mark II and I just love it - my pride and joy!

They're beautiful photos and what a lovely bump! Hubby and I love photography too, and hubby will be taking photos of my little bump

can I asked you ladies how you became photographers? I'd love to do it at some point ( although still an amateur!) but I don't know if I'll have the guts to quit my job as a lawyer one day! Lol

Awe thank you so much ladies.
Its so nice to know the pictures have inspired some of you to try the poses- the lipstick one is so easy to do!

MafiaPrincess I shoot on a canon 5d too and hubby used that and a simple 50mm F1.8 lens for these shots, its such a fantastic lens for portrait stuff.

Minnie if you email me I'll send you some tips about getting into photography.I've only recently left my job as a TV reporter to do this, so know all about making the change from one career to being a photographer! Happy to share info with you, so drop me a line. My email button is activated to do use that.
