i am about seven weeks pregnant or so i thoght. i had a bit of spotting on two days last week due to this i went for an early scan on monday. in which there was a pregnancy sac seen but there was nothing in it, (the midwife said that i might not be as far as seven weeks i might have been less) The midwife told me that this was perfectly normal and booked me in for a further scan on the 14th may. But i have been bleeding quite heavily with small clot's (not as heavy as my period) no pain, for the last two days.
I have phoned my midwife who assures me that everything is probably fine and that i have to come back in if the bleeding gets any heavier or i start getting pains and cramping. I am starting to get worried that i won't be pregnant when my next scan comes round Is anyone else experiencing this or has experienced it in the past. I wasn't particularly worried until today as i know some people do have some spotting but i wasn't expecting this.

if it was me i would go and see my m/w or gp straightaway. Have u had any cramps or pains? have u been pregnant before?? x

no pain, no cramps, i rang my midwife yesterday who didn't seem particularly worried telling me that that there was no point doing another scan yet as it won't have changed much since monday but don't worry about it, and that if i started getting any pain cramps or i started to bleed really heavy with big clots them to ring again. No i haven't been pregnant before, Thanks for your reply.

if your worried, ask to see someone, if your not just see how u go, i hope everythin ok 4 u x

hi ya, my 6 wk scan showed a heart beat??? Are you sure you are 7 weeks??? I hope everything is ok & if you are in doubt get a 2nd opinion. Best of luck***

Hi, I would really go and get checked out if nothing else but for piece of mind. My GP told me not to worry if I got any spotting but if I started to actually bleed to go and see him to get checked out. Fingers crossed everything is ok but you need to find out so you can stop stressing! Take care xx
