I got one since it was a bargain from ebay but now i have it I'm actually thinking is it needed coz my house isnt all that big and when we talk to each other thru the monitor we can hear the other person anyway just not as loud!!! it's worth looking for one on ebay thats cheaper (i got mine half retail price) cos then you dont feel its a waste of money!

i'm getting one with the sensitive matress where if the baby stops moving or breathing an alarm goes off after 20 seconds, and its not a big annoying alarm its just like a beeping, think it will put my mind at rest, xx

I got the tommee tippee one with the sensor pad for my 1st baby & will be using it for this one too. Def worth every penny!

I also got one of the ones with the screen from woolworths but it broke after using it for only 2 weeks & because it had been bought a few months before the baby was born it was outside its warranty. I was very disappointed with it (mainly coz it broke after sucha shorttime!)
