Hi, I'm looking for a bit of reassurance. A friend of mine has recently had a baby boy and named him Noah. Lovely name, however I'm now a bit paranoid it sounds and looks to similar to what we have picked if our yellow bump is blue. Our name is Niall. I keep trying to tell myself the only similarity is the N, but now I can't seem to see any difference between Noah and Niall and its driving me insane. Hubby and me have been set on this name for months and I'm gutted my friend has called her boy this really, I no its silly! Any help? 38+4 Xx

Lol don't worry! I know what it's like when you get an idea in your head, especially with pregnancy hormones in the mix too, but I personally don't think the names are similar at all! You are right, the only similarity is the N. You certainly shouldn't consider not using the name you love for that reason, it's way too important. MyBs x

Don't worry about it & certainly don't let it alter your choice.  They are different names at the end of the day & even if they weren't the children would learn to know which of them you were talking to much as they will at school with other children with similar or identical names.
