In Norway you get 54 weeks maternity leave at 80% pay!!

And in Slovenia you get 12 months at 100% pay!!

Just gotta find my passport...

I already live in Norway lol! I don't qualify for maternity leave though as I am a full time mum to my first lo. As a result I do get a one off payment though which equates to about ??3,500 - not bad at all. Plus as a full time Mum to an under 3 year old I get ??400 a month for looking after him. Once he goes to nursery in August for two days a week that goes down to 60% as it is a state subsidised nursery so obviously you can't get the benefit twice.

Got to remember though that Norway is a huge country but only has the population equivalent to Manchester so they are happy to encourage people to have babies out here.
On the flip side it is about ??5 a pint, you can pretty much double your weekly shopping bill, and cars cost an absolute fortune.

Beautiful country though, I know quite a few Brits who have moved out here now and most of them are having babies here! x
