Am i in early labor?

I've been getting cramp period pain type feelings under my bump for the past few hours now. im 41+3 and i had a sweep 2 days ago, cervix wasnt open at all. isit possible for me to be in early labor if my cervix wasnt open 2 days ago? The pain isnt unbearable but its uncomfy and i just want to know if im in labor yet, cant wait any longer!! let me know what you all think. thankyou xx

never been in labor before but sounds promising, mabe its babys head coming into place? id call your midwife xx good luck and congrats

It is indeed possible, your body can become favourable for labour in next to no time.  Those period pains will grow in intensity until you reach established labour, at which point you should be 4-5cm dilated, having contractions 3-5mins apart lasting a good 90secs a time (likely leaving you sweating/breathless).  Best wishes & good luck.

Sounds very like early labour to me.Are they coming and going regularly?If you can time them,early labour contractions are quite manageable and can be as far apart as 15 mins maybe more.
If it is early labour rather than braxton hicks then they will get closer together and last longer.

Have you had a 'show' i think you have one of them before you begin in labour?
