Hi guys,

Am 37 weeks today, full term now, so just a matter of waiting. Midwife at anti-natal class said to us all be prepared from 37 weeks onwards. Feels like time has really slowed down now. When i found out i was pregnant i was only 6 weeks along and the time seemed to fly by. But now it feel like this last bit is taking forever. Very excited to meet bump as we are having a surprise, Slightly nervous about labour. Everytime i get slightly different pain to what i have been getting i wonder, is this it?, will i know?.
Hope you don't mind me sharing,
sam

Hi Sam, i wish i was at 37 weeks as im only 31+6 and you are right, i seems to be taking forever these past 2 or 3 weeks. Im hoping to go early as ive been told im carrying a very large baby and if i carried to full term it would be at least a 9lb baby. How are you feeling? Have you everything ready for the arrivial?

Im ok, im a bit bored as i was signed off work at 17 weeks due to heavy bleeding and the novilty of being at home has well and truely wore off to complete boredom! Have you any names picked for each sex or are you waiting to see what your baby looks like?

Hi sam,

I know how you feel coz everyday I went over with my 1st seemed like an eternity & everytime someone said to me not to worry that I'll meet my baby soon enough, I just wanted to scream so I'll not say anything like that to you. You'll know when you go into labour coz the pain is more intense than with braxton hicks. Good luck & hopefully you'll not have too long to wait. Keep us posted

Thank you.
Have chosen names, Ellie Elizabeth, or Joshua James. Had these names since got ok at 20 week scan. What about you? do you know what your having?.
I have been off work since last Dec due to getting injured at work. Then went straight to Mat leave, have enjoyed being at home, caught up on reading and sometimes have just veg out.

I really love Olivia but OH really wants Abigail if its a girl. If its a boy we have both settled on Jack. I do like Abigail and i could shorten it to Abi which is nice. Sometimes i do wish i had of asked the sex because i see so many lovely things in pink and blue and i cant buy any. I am looking forward to when the baby is here and i can go ahead and buy loads of cute coloured clothes as there isnt very much in white or cream. What about Claire21? Do you know if she has had her baby yet?

I haven't decided on a name though I have 2 or 3, but I'm going to wait to see what he looks like first. 2 and a half weeks to go and it feels like it's going to take a lifetime, just want it to hurry up! :> can't wait to meet him. xx

Hi Sam,

I'm 37wks+4 and feeling exactly like you. Everything's ready and we're just waiting. This week has gone quite quick as i've been really busy and i've felt really well. The best i've felt for the whole pregnancy! I keep thinking every twinge might be it too!

I'm also getting worried about the birth. I wish I could miss that bit out and just come home with my baby! lol! I still have this disbelief that it's actually going to happen. It feels so surreal. I just hope I don't go overdue, that must be torture.

I hope the next few weeks wizz by for all of us and that we all have our little ones safely with us soon.

Good Luck
Karlie
